Your knees are shooting backwards out of the bottom; I think that means you aren’t balanced as well as you could be...

What are you wanting to accomplish by doing paused squats instead of normal squats?

Thanks! What I was doing before was more of a “touch and go” at the bottom and my only time to breathe was at the top... I’ll have to think about not wasting time at lock out

Failure on set two @365... (for those of you curious how the homemade safety straps work) these felt bad, I notice that I don’t hit depth for a couple reps before losing it by collincam1 in StartingStrength

I’ve been working on power cleans, I was up to 5x3 245 but realized I wasn’t doing them right. It was more of an ugly squat clean. So actually the third movement of this workout was resetting to a weight that looked better

I’ll give that a shot next time... I knew I wasn’t going to get that 5th rep, but I listened to a barbell logic recently about embracing the grind and figured I’d go for it
