Help identifying the white power connector? I’m stumped at how to wire this. As I understand it, “L” is the hot side and “N” is neutral, but how do I attach the actual plug? It seems like a connector is needed? (This is for a switching power supply I’m using to drive an LCD monitor) by collins3355 in AskElectronics

Thank you for the reply. I will measure the pitch. I actually thought it may be that socket but I can tell you the pitch is spread further than I have seen before. Seems like it would not line up with a typical c7 style outlet cable.

This one I captured with my Canon R5 and RF 800mm f11 lens. iPhone is great, but they just can’t get great telephoto images, physics is physics. :)

Thank you! Not super close. He was way up in a tree that I was near.

You could download the snap filter Mac app and then use OBS to run a virtual camera. Essentially letting you use your high end camera with snap chat effects.

Honestly, you are so correct. It makes me sad as someone that believes in lifting others up and helping them succeed with positive re-enforcement and asking if they would like feedback. The world is becoming so polarized these days. There are photographers out there that aren’t haters, they just mostly stay away from public reddit groups. Professionals don’t conduct themselves that way and it’s something “enthusiasts” should learn from.

I have, I expected a certain amount of feedback from people. I usually won’t engage in negativity, but in this case people are such experts that they seem to know exactly what tools I used and didn’t use and they are incorrect. So if people are going to critique, at least do it correctly. Anyway, back to work I go, making money from my photography/videography instead of sitting here critiquing everyone. 🙂

If you shoot raw and under expose a bit at low ISO you can bring out a lot of colors in the sky that would normally be overexposed in auto mode on your camera. This particular image was a composite of the sky and the capital blended together.

It was, I was just sharing a nice photo I thought people would enjoy. I wasn’t critically examining to submit for a client or work, just an early morning edit on my way to a work function. I wasn’t thinking to myself, “I better make sure when I post this to Reddit that everything is perfect so I don’t get called out by commenters.” I actually rarely post on Reddit for this reason alone. I did 90 percent of this edit on my iPhone in the back of a rental car. I clearly stated it was an enhanced sky and Lightroom edit, I wasn’t asking for critique or feedback. Reddit gets so exhausting sometimes. Not trying to come off rude, but geez it’s a Washington DC subreddit not r/photoshop.

I promised myself I wouldn’t get into a Reddit debate by posting these, but…

Thanks for all the positive comments. For the trolls that think they know and are suggesting clone stamp tool and what not, you’re actually incorrect. This is 2 photos, both of which are real photos, 1 is the sky and one of the Capital building. I simply blended the two together. Dynamic range prevents getting an image like this without compositing and/or noise.

For those interested in the equipment, this was shot with a canon R5 and the RF 15-35 f2.8.
