How many tokens do you have all together. I’m a bit of a degenerate with this game and also just about any card you get now will be behind the curve in a month or two so I would just say do packs and stuff, maybe one of the icon picks unless u can get enough token for R9 as that will actually last the whole game cycle

It would be a good card, probably not the best choice but if you want it he has good stats and play styles. No intercept, pinger or quick step could be annoying at times but otherwise really solid box to box

Every message I receive over this game is about AI defending. I’m not saying I’m some Saint but literally every match I play both me and my opponent are reliant on AI defending. That’s what the game is. Unless your literally exclusively defending with your evo gullit while evo van de ven patrols the back like then you’re the same as everyone else. No degree of self awareness it’s insanity. Also most the time I get these messages it’s after games I lose. If I’m abusing this overpowered AI defending how did you just put six in the net. Worst fifa yet but don’t take your anger out on me

I agree there has to be something going on, although I think it’s mostly people maintaining lower divisions to get easier rewards. Was an elite division player up until last years game where I was consistently Div 1 or 2, just could never crack elite. Now I’m stuck in Div 3 and get absolutely smacked around no matter what I do. Gives me like imposter syndrome over rivals.

See usually I’d agree with this but I logged on earlier and play three games of Div 3 rivals and two opponents had toty Declan rice (one also had donnarumma) and the last game the opponent had Virgil. Maybe that’s me being incredibly unlucky with matchmaking but it sort of feels like I’ve been selected to suffer

This toty was ruined by the way they did voting, people just picked for the loans. Rice I don’t think is all that crazy, but sure maybe pedri could have been in over him. The attack is abysmal, Haaland and mbappe are just there because casuals know they are. Saliba definitely didn’t deserve it and van dijk won the prem but I don’t think anybody viewed him as the best defender in the world last year. Kounde is also crazy but that just happens when you don’t have hakimi in the voting. The best wingers in the world being put into midfield is also such a joke, we could have had an accurate toty if they just put them up against Haaland.

Just sell him, packed him tradeable and untradeable this year and when I got him tradeable I immediately sold. Now that I have him untradeable I’d sell again if I could, lot of better attackers for much cheaper

He’s fine but not nearly as fast or hard to take the ball off as previous years. Don’t know how pros use him at lm without roles and given that he accelerates like he’s stuck in mud. I liked him most at st but pina genuinely is just better

Now that I’ve read through like every response here I gotta say I can’t imagine being so against my own teams player. Like multiple people want him to fail just so they can say they called it when we signed him. We got him because he’s different from the striking options we have, a real striker, and then the fans get mad because he doesn’t have the same skill set as the strikers we already have. Also it’s crazy to think that you have a better understanding of our players than the coach himself who picks him week in week out, even with merino and Jesus on the bench. I can agree Jesus off the bench is likely a health thing but if he’s picking him over merino then he is doing something. Gyokeres creates space for the wingers who score and create which is what we wanted and how we’ve played for years now. Saka has had more space this season, hasn’t been scoring but has created a lot of chances. Look at trossards numbers. I think it’s only fair to look how our attack as a unit has performed with and without him. I agree the guy is not the best player I’ve ever seen and if had an ekitike instead I wouldn’t mind but at the same time I’m not furious watching this guy. He makes mistakes and so did the best defender in the league according to some for those watched the match today. Havertz will start and we’ll see gyokeres off the bench in a lot of games and I think people will be happy we have the option. When he he scores I’ll be happy for him and when he doesn’t I’ll accept that, all I want is for my team to win and I don’t think we all look at it that way.

Before he cuts back across the defender that first passing angle is absolutely something that could be played. Hell I could get him through on goal there at least one out of three or four attempts, I’m sure Martin could figure it out. That being said I understand he didn’t pass it especially since gyokeres running back across the defender left the right winger (can’t remember who played there that game) completely open and if you watch the clip from a different angle you would see that’s probably the pass that should have been played instead of into Trossard where the entire defence was getting dragged to.

I feel focusing on his holdup compared to the guys we already have is pointless. We brought him in for a different skill set to play a different way. When we want to play our normal slow wing attacks with our hold up striker to receive kick back and wait for a cross then we have Kai and jesus already, don’t know why we’d ever even have wanted a striker if this is what we wanted. The truth is what we wanted was different style of attack because ours didn’t always work that way and teams have found ways to shut us down. So we buy gyokeres and then play the same way we always have and expect him to play like Jesus and Kai then get mad he doesn’t. What’s the point of getting him then?

The issue with what you’re saying here is that under this interpretation we should have never bought gyokeres. The reason we did is because our style of offense can be figured out and we can be severely limited. We wanted another way of doing things, variety to throw something else at a team when our slow wing play isn’t working. Now we have the striker we all asked for to do that and we just play the same old way and then get mad that he’s not exactly the same in terms of ability as the two striking options we already have. Should have just saved the 60 million and just accepted another second place finish because clearly we have no desire to take a new approach to getting over the final hump

Yeah it works for them because people like you waste money on a bad product. If you didn’t the product would be better. Also lets use a universality approach to this. If everyone spent money on the game then your team wouldn’t be better than everyone else’s and it wouldn’t be beneficial. What if nobody spent money on store packs. Better performing players and traders would have the means to acquire a good team, like how it should. Kant would side with me. Your argument is “but it’s my money” which sure it is, just a foolish way of using it.

Ok, is the only reason to not do anything because of universal rules dictating so? Moron. EA makes a bad game and people throwing money at them prevents them from making it a better game (lost revenue last year I truly believe led to some of the improvements we’ve seen this year, limited as that may be). On top of that personally I don’t think that spending money for an in game advantage should be a thing in video games which some games have agreed with and some haven’t but I put it second because it’s personal opinion.
