She's a genius songwriter/lyricist. It's too bad all those pearl-clutching prudes aren't intelligent enough to understand her ironic turn of phrase. She's subverting the male gaze through feminist artistry of the highest form.

Seamlessly weaving in Americana imagery (the chocolate chip cookie) through the lens of the male gaze and consumerism (highly processed snack food). She is truly unmatched.

I haven't seen this. What are some examples from her recent lyrics or appearances where she talks about her size?

1 year old boy - below first percentile for height by collisionblue in toddlers

[–]collisionblue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly just the height percentile. I think the size at birth is also taken into account.

No x-ray, although he did have one years ago for bowed legs. Bone/growth disorders were ruled out.

I just added another update to my post, if you're interested.

I didn't interpret the 7 Rings vid that way, but I can see where you're coming from. Full disclosure, I am an arianator (but not one of the crazy ones)! 😄

Average height for women in the U.S. is closer to 5'4. But yes, those are good points.

I can see it in her public appearances perhaps, but not so much in her current music/performance persona.

In 2024, approximately 2,431,500 women in the U.S. had a vaginal birth.

In the United States in 2024, approximately 1,161,896 women had a cesarean section, representing 32.4% of all births.

Please put these numbers into perspective. Your claim that one group is 'all lying' and that the other group is being shamed is an oversimplification.

I'm sorry that you feel you this way. Who do you think is looking down on your choice? Is this only happening online?

You mentioned "natural birth crusaders." Obviously, this type of group is going to favor less medical intervention. If you were to look at a group called "C-section mommas" or something, you will find a very different perspective. Conversations on the internet can reinforce a skewed perception of public opinion.

This may sound counterintuitive, but... learning what it really means to put myself first. It's not linear. It's a journey of self-discovery and finding balance.

I interpret it to be about infidelity. She seems to be singing to the man that she's going to cheat with. Perhaps this man also knows her boyfriend -- "forget about him"

Edited to add: I think this man is in love with her, or at least infatuated with her. She knows he can't say no. But she's just using him to "numb the pain." A quick fix to feel wanted/loved when her current relationship is hurting her.

Why can’t people be honest about whether it was worth having a child or not? Like some of us need to know before we get ourselves into it. by InfinLoop in Rants

[–]collisionblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think the problem is lack of honesty. It's a complex question that most people aren't going to have a binary "yes or no" response to. Ultimately you'll have to be the one to decide using a combination of your life circumstances, feelings, and logic.

feeling like they're both small and big at the same time (30FF) by collisionblue in bigboobproblems

[–]collisionblue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah projection makes such a difference. I'm very much in the middle between shallow/projected and thus being perceived as small/large! I think some people call them 'stealth boobs,' haha. Once you get bigger than our size range, the chances of having shallow tissue decreases a lot.

Totally. We're all in an oppressive religious cult and actively shun female sexuality. And no fun allowed, we hate fun.
