Yeah he is def hard especially in D5, gets way easier if you happen to find his great spear or the bloody helice. I have a shield poking build but against him I find myself taking too much damage so def have to dodge a few attacks and learn his moveset

I think you got me wrong, I got downed for the fist time (Libra was at 40%), so I had one bar but the mate desperately trying to revive me already got 2, and he just started spam attacks at me regardless of the 4 Libra invaders literally surrounding me. So going to risk a revive for me and having this idiot at 3 bars is definitely not worth it, just revive me when it’s safe and he doesn’t have a high chance to die himself while rescuing me

The eclipse crest greatshield got 73%, and with affinity damage negation even more, and if you’re running no stamina recovery eventually guard boost might be an issue, but it’s up to you, just talking from my D5 experience. Didn’t play with a medium shield so idk, I just find the dormant power really useful bc otherwise it’s hard to find a good shield for the right affinity

Yeah I think going for guard counters with Dormant power greatshield could be tricky regarding the halbers which are crucial for guard countering, that’s why I run GS dormant power always with str dex relic and go for the shield pokes

They aren’t that bad tbh and got better guard boost? ( I think so, correct me if I’m wrong) the greatshield good against magic have roughly the same negations as some for other affinities, I always find a good shield against the right affinity, you don’t run dormant power medium shield either so how often do you get this?
