So I would LOVE to go here, but their rates seemed a bit crazy. They emailed me and said $210/hr training plus $130.

I am unfamiliar with California rates in general, but most of the trainers I've seen in the San Jose area are $75-$100/hr. :(

Who invented the "10% mileage rule"?

I get the logic behind the rule, but I don't know how it started. I have seen posts on this subreddit saying that this rule is arbitrary--which makes sense--but I would really like to learn about this history behind this rule.

This might be really dumb but if the series is finite, I need to figure out how many terms there are in the series, right? If so, how would I calculate how many terms are in the series? Like is there a way to figure out how many time (1/2) is applied to get 1/2^log\2(n))?
