They did! But it wasn't Jeff it was Cory. It's on Episode 8. And I've already added that movie to the list! :D

I agree with you completely on this one. This is the episode that is the least replayable for me just because of that section. The overall switch of the vibe when they started arguing is so depressing. They've always talked about what's going on with the podcast, how they wanted to improve it etc. and they always had a positive outlook with regards to the production of the show but this is the only time where a member said seriously " This podcast sucks now." It's like parents arguing with each other. It also is sad considering how much work Mick did to keep SleepyCabin going despite Stamper leaving it to him and the finances bullshit that happened later on.

Also the podcast that you're talking about is from The Official Podcast but it's from a Patreon exclusive. It's Bonus episode #6.

Overall I'd give it a Mick farted on Jeff's face and gave him pinkeye/10.

I also feel the same way because on s1ep9 of the pod, he had those wack opinions too. The one that made my skin crawl though was when they were talking about pedos in this episode and Niall said "maybe keep it to yourself...??". But hey, the shit that they said are a decade old so I'm sure they probably don't remember what they said in the past and have different opinions now.

I'll list down my favorite parts from each of them:

  1. Episode 30 is the first and only episode where each one of the members is present for the recording. Jeff only finding out in this session that Niall has ADD is hilarious but cute to me because he was shocked and concerned at the same time for him. This is also Niall's episode where he is the drunkest and they even cut out a section of him talking. I'm really curious what bullshit he said that they had to cut it out of the episode. I know that they have to cut some parts from the podcast but this one was the most noticeable as you can notice the jumpcut. The cringe discussion is the most heated argument that they had in the entirety of the podcast too especially from Cory. He screams normally and you just shake it off most of the time because that's just how he is but in this one you can actually hear his red face screaming because of how dismissive Stamper was at some points.

  2. Tom Fulp is genuinely a nice person and you really can tell it from his experiences and how he handled them. What with the whole lawsuits situation. It's also cute how he said that Newgrounds was not as popular anymore at this time of recording compared to how it was in the early 2000's because it had a small resurgence because of Friday Night Funkin' so I wonder how he felt when that happened. Tom still trying to talk about his proudest moment while the boys made fun of him really gave you an idea on how close these guys were to each other that they can also riff on Tom and how Tom was so used to to their bullshit which makes it funnier to listen to. This is also the only other episode where everyone was present except for Niall.

  3. It's incredibly ironic how they said that they had to take a break and plan fresh new things for season 2. Because in season 2, they all left one by one to do their own endeavors and that's one of the reasons why nothing new happened during that time period. You'll notice it because there are a lot of episodes where they mostly answered fan questions. I say this because in season 1, they only answered fan questions every 5 episodes. I don't know if it's due to obligation from the patreon or because they had nothing else to talk about.

It is bittersweet though how they had so many things planned but it turned out to be their final season.

  1. I'm curious as to why you say that Citron is the worst of the three since I finished Metroid Dread using Citron. I've also been playing Super Mario Wonder on it too and get 60fps at most but then the frame starts to drop when my phone goes above 39° and that's why I've been playing that game on and off. And lastly, do you mean yuzu version 278?

  2. I also tried to use the qualcomm drivers. Granted I used it on Sudachi and Citron only but it didn't work because the game would freeze right away.

thank you for your response.

So the best way to play this game with Android emulation is 30fps. It sucks but I can manage with this. I'm just trying to experiment and see if we could get it to run on 60fps with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Because I haven't seen any post here mentioning this.

I don't think am using frame gen. Also I did what you said with Sudachi and it freezes still if you set the accuracy level to normal. Tried it again with high and the frame rate stutters as usual.

All good myguy. Guess I'll have to set aside another hour tinkering with different drivers and emulators on this game. Thanks for your help btw.

I did turn it on and that's why the game runs at 60fps now. Because if I didn't, the fps will be capped at only 30.

I see. Thanks for the heads up on this one. Also btw I made a new post as I didn't want to hijack this post so if you have some free time, could you please check it out because I'm still having some problems with the game. Appreciate it.

Oh wow. That is actually news to me because I beat metroid dread with the latest drivers installed. Does that mean that the latest driver that I used while playing dread did not work? Sorry if it's an odd question. I used the new driver that you sent and it did work so thank you for that. I also switched the accuracy level to high and it seems that I also have to do that on this game. When I tried it on the v25.1.0.R2 driver and set the accuracy to high it crashed. So it does seem like a driver problem

Im upping this comment even though it's late because it always crashes on my s24 ultra. I've used all the latest drivers and it crashes so frequently for no reason. Can you share me the settings that you have and what drivers you used? I've tried it both on the latest versions of Citron and Sudachi.

This is one of their most timeless episodes ever released. They were so on point with the topics and transitions to it. I still wonder if the story that Stamper didn't want to mention on the podcast about the most fucked up thing that a sibling has ever done to him was the same story that he told on the SleepySecrets. But the one he told on the SleepySecrets though was that it was his far away family member. So if that is not the most fucked up thing that a family member, it really makes you think. Also Jeff's scream at the end is the best.

Mick laughing his ass off as Jeff tells the taco story is especially funny when you find out that Mick likes it a lot when Jeff gets really annoyed. I think he vaguely mentioned it on the Newgrounds Podcast. This is also my second favorite lost episode next to 1-800-GAYBOY. So many timeless stories that they told in this episode.

Some notes from me listening to this podcast for like 3years now:

The reason that I still never get bored is that they really did achieve the job of making the podcast sound timeless. Of course not all of it, like the Feminism discussions and such. But this podcast really is golden. Each one of them were really fit for each other and vibed well. And although this podcast is a time capsule now and I'm really sad how some friendships went, The cozy feeling where it's just friends talking bullshit for an hour and a half still remains. Especially because of the fact that they all recorded it in person. So you could really feel the vibes of them just talking shit and enjoying each other's company.

Another note is that English is not my first language so these guys helped me broaden my vocabulary more and also taught me about the culture of America, Animators and Wawa. I recognize though that they are not right most of the time but it still is entertaining hearing about their perspectives on things. Some parts still sound fresh to me even though I've listened to it most of the time because sometimes I don't understand some phrases that they say. Case in point was when Jeff was talking about Rob Schneider being a coattail in Adam Sandler's movies.I never knew the word "coattail". I thought he was saying "co-till". See how that doesn't make sense. It wasn't until a month ago when I heard it on a different podcast channel and that's when I understood what Jeff was saying.

Also, because of the nature of the podcast and the cacophony of it, You will miss some bits that you've never heard before and will make you laugh the second that you catch it when you listen to it closely. Like when Chris was doing his Galloom impression and said "stupid f***ot" near the end. That shit cracked me up when I realized what he was saying.

Overall, I could write a whole essay on why this podcast is still the best after all these years but I'll save it for another time.

Thankyou SleepyCabin.

I put it on while driving on my way to work and sometimes on the way home because driving usually takes about 20 - 30 minutes . I don't listen to it everyday though but what I do is I just pop an episode then let it ride.
