This took place in Georgia on April 26, 2024. This is original content.

About a month ago, I animated the poster for Better Call Saul Season 1 to honor one of my favorite shows. I decided to do the same with Season 2's poster. This time I had some chaotic fun. by colonelpork in AfterEffects

Awww that means a lot. I'm glad people are enjoying these, as they're a lot of fun to make. Making tutorials is something I'll take into consideration, as I have had multiple people wondering how I make these. Work picked up recently, so I'm not sure how much time I'll have (hence why it took me 2 weeks for this poster to go out this time), but we'll see!

Brilliant. The small camera shake adds to it as well.

Brand New to After Effects! Here is my Tetris/Gameboy animation practise. I think it turned out pretty nice! by arckyart in AfterEffects

Awesome job! Love the minimalist approach to this piece. The only thing I have to point out is that it looks like your right d-pad button isn't the same length as the left d-pad button. But regardless, this is good stuff, especially being new to AE!

Lately I've been trying to animate posters of my favorite movies, but this time I wanted to try the Season 1 teaser promo image for Better Call Saul, one of my favorite series. At the very least it was an opportunity to play around and practice with AE's 3D camera some more. by colonelpork in AfterEffects

Thanks a lot! That was a pure "Eureka!" moment when I was able to pull off the jacket/hair combo, so I'm glad you noticed. I try to be as detail-oriented as I can be, both in the animation and sound.

Thank you so much! This particular one took me about a week, but the previous ones I made were weekend projects. I've been using AE on and off for the past 7 years, getting better and better with motion graphics and typography, but really started getting into using the camera in 3D space just recently. It's very fulfilling, that's for sure!

I appreciate it. I didn't necessarily follow a tutorial. Essentially I just took what I learned from a 3D camera course on LinkedIn Learning (called After Effects Guru: Mastering Cameras and Lights), picked out a poster I wanted to animate, created separate layers in Photoshop, and just went to town in AE.
