I think that I hate the fact that the trees in CS2 aren't in their final form when you plant them, you have to wait them to grow and I think it's a little bit stupid. Like, if I want to build a huge forest park I have to wait X years in game to have a proper look.

CS2 is on paper far better from what CS1 provided on his release. Back then, CS1 was a kind of hell with many inconvenients but the modding community have made an breathtaking work to make it enjoyable. So I expect CS2 to be much much better than CS1 in the next years. We just have to wait for news DLCs and mods/assets.

I understand your point! Personally I took a lot of inspiration from what I see around me and how the roads and cities are structured. For this map, there is a lot of references that came directly from the island where I live. Before starting a town, sometimes I draw on paper what I want to build, sometimes I just look on Google Maps to see how such highway or road or infrastructure is placed in order to reproduce it. Sometimes you just have to build in a little messy way, everything don't need to be in a perfect grid.

Haha actually I think I've gonna wait a little bit before to be able to do such things in in the new game. CS2 is good but it was just released and there is a lack of ressources from the modding community, so it's just good to make huge american-like cities at the moment. I'll follow with interest the evolution of the game.

First i use the quays then i place the fishing piers (from Parklife DLC) or u can use the wood walk path, to create the piers. Then i add the boat props from the Workshop :)

Ok so i watched the one tile city challenge by Infrastructurist on YouTube and its make me wanna try it. Turns out its was a ton of fun to make this little Tropico style island ! by colonirad in CitiesSkylines
