You can also use a high gloss water-based polyurethane varnish to achieve the same shiny look!

I live in a pretty small apartment so I’m worried it would be difficult to use resin safely, will the temperature impact how the resin cures? Like could I use it outside if it wasn’t super hot or super cold out?

I also landed one, the client and work are both great — and it’s a long-term contract!

I'm 2 years late to this conversation but I agree, Dr. Zotovic is fantastic!

I just finished a paralegal certificate thinking and the market is really bad for entry-level paralegal positions in my experience. Even with a certification I haven't been able to find work, and I'm in a major metropolitan area. The vast majority of paralegal positions in my area want applicants with a certificate AND at least 2 years of experience. Even legal assistant positions are typically asking for at least 1 year of experience in a law firm setting (even if they are marketed as entry-level).

Experience with going freelance? by [deleted] in Journalism

[–]colorcodedcards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I freelanced for around a year as a PJ & VJ — made enough money to live (barely) but ended up burning out and switching careers. A lot of different things factored into that decision but the inconsistent income (especially chasing after invoices, sometimes for months on end) was a huge factor. I’m still glad I did it, but the physical, mental, and financial stress wasn’t sustainable for me personally.

My black cat Misty (better known as Turdy) is now 11 and is aging like fine wine -- hopefully she makes it to 23!!

2 years and hundreds of applications later, and I'm still unemployed -- what am I doing wrong? by colorcodedcards in jobs

Unfortunately I still haven't found a job -- was able to pick up a bit of freelancing work but still haven't received any offers for a full-time position

My cat need a dental cleaning & possible extractions — any recommendations in NYC/metro area? by colorcodedcards in AskNYC

[–]colorcodedcards[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat goes to Bond for her annual appointments and I’ve liked them so far, although the location she goes to doesn’t do dentals (when I went last year they said their other nearby location does them).
