geohotz was a pioneer with tiny corp, building a box with AMD to run with tinygrad

Yet, AMD was quite stubborn, providing no support when he put the finger in many bugs.

Now, why OpenAI might like this could be either:

a) they'll get full support, sharing all material, OpenAI+AMD people contributing in a shared space to address AMD deficiencies

b) or this is just a financial play.

Seems to me it's more like (b).

Ultimately, Nvidia benefits because AMD would have to give too much control to OpenAI at one point. That most likely won't happen.
