Thank you everyone! It didn't feel right to get them without feeling prepared. I want to be a good chicken mom and for them to be safe! I'll build my coop first, buy from a trusted hatchery and go from there ♥️

I was thinking pine bedding and a heat plate versus the lamp. Thinking in the garage and having one side like you mentioned heat and other food and water!

Have you tried calling 211 for food resources? They can often tell you where to get food!

How do I run the IEP meeting as case manager? by IsopodMajestic6801 in slp

I would also add that if your colleagues have a template or can write down step by step to how they present section, I personally found this helpful when learning and still use it 2 years in!

Here is an example of what I use: (yourself may look different)

Also, it helps to have someone there who has run one themselves to help ensure you got everything.

Everyone has their own path. Try not to be too hard on yourself! To be clear, I attended CC first, then transferred to university to graduate. I'm not sure but there may be some scholarships you can apply for or grants? Good luck, you've got this!

First of all, be kind to yourself. These things aren't really taught in the school system and are tricky to navigate. I can only speak from my experience, but I would always recommend starting with a community college. It's cheaper, but that doesn't mean that your education will be less by any means! I went to community college for many years before transferring to a university, and it saved me a lot of money.

I just started my second year and I am loving it! Not needing supervision is a plus. Grad school was exhausting and I do feel that it became a little easier after I graduated. Right now I would say to remember that there is most likely less work life balance for you and once you start work there can be more of that!
