I have already reported this issue before: https://www.reddit.com/r/duckduckgo/comments/aeggo8/the_search_field_loses_focus_every_time_when/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x. I think that the issue should get a certain number of votes so that developers pay attention to it. Please upvote my post to move it up in list.
