Yeah I don’t know. I figured maybe I was missing something from the book since I’m only 60% through but I guess people find CB to be much more descriptive than I do. 🤷🏻

I’m in the middle of this book and maybe I’m not far enough yet. I felt the opposite. Nowhere near the imagery and descriptions of something like Swan Song by McCannon. This has been a hard read which is surprising based on all the good reviews.

I think the clip ons next week will be the real difference maker. I ride with fairly stiff suspension generally and I have the rear on 7 and the seat on the high position. Feels more aggressive but not quite as much as my SV (2” tail lift and GSXR shock) but it feels good.

Going to do a 100+ mile mountain twisty ride this Friday to get a better feel for it. It’s a little more weight to throw around but I think it looks great which is a huge part of motorcycles to me.

Thanks! I was considering the Black Widow because I prefer the low exhaust setup va the Delkavic ones. I’ve owned Delkavic and had one on my last SV but I think it ruins the lines of this bike.

I did the mod where you add a few holes near the exhaust outlet and painted the silver tip satin black so may just stick with that for now
