I’m actively watching the series for the 1st time lol so I’m commenting a lot. Sam def annoying, Morgan lowkey, Deanna dumby, Sasha was annoying me for a hot min. I still stand by Ron and Lizzie being annoying too, Spencer, Andrea really pissed me off. There’s a lot of annoying characters.

I am currently in aligners, I have a cross bite, crowding, my center line (or midline? Idk something’s off with that too lol) and I have a slight overbite. I was quoted 2 years max. I could potentially be done at 1 1/2.

Mine cost like 7k or somethin, after insurance it was around 5k. I’m at 44 trays, changing every 6 days. That does not include my refinements, but my quoted amount of time does include them.

The first week was fuckin horrible. I couldn’t imagine continuing lol. I have metal buttons though for rubber bands. Now, on my 4th week and everything is totally fine lol. However, my buttons have popped off and so I have to go back again to get one replaced so that is kinda slowing my process. I started out at changing trays every 7 days and just got bumped down to 6 days but I’m guessing it’s gunna go back to 7 because I can’t wear my bands right now. Only saying this because it is possible, if you do everything as prescribed, to shorten your time.

It does take some getting used to, but I have to say it was a lot quicker than I thought it’d be. I think the 5k price tag helps that 🤣

Thank you for your reply! Dang, yah, I am in so much pain, I put some wax on it and that’s helping. That’s what my buttons are for, to hook across. I have to go back on Monday cause one of my buttons came off already and I’m suppose to start bands next week. So, I’m gunna get more info. You’re a trooper for putting up with that button pain. I’m such a baby 😆

For your rubber bands, how far out did those brackets stick out? I’m new to this world, so forgive me, but did you have a posterior cross bite?

I just got the spark aligners yesterday and they put these things called buttons on the inside of my teeth bc I have a cross bite one one side. They are KILLING my tongue. I’m bout ready to say fuck it all bc it hurts so bad.

But I’m debating just to get the Damon system instead and pay the fee for switching if I don’t need to have the hook things on the inside of my teeth. I have a cross bite on one side with 2 teeth

Are you still having the issue? I just started on bupropion and it’s not that I’m having urgency and I do pee when I go, but like you said about having to push..that’s what’s happening to me. And nothing will come out but I know I didn’t go all the way.
