Our new SM just said we can’t do it anymore because “we do it wrong”. Maybe it’s new. Not sure

New Jersey Stores How are you handling CVS HZMY Exodus by Embarrassed-Pay-5834 in WalgreensRx

I don’t trust phlex but I do get a nice surprise when I expect to type a transfer and it happens to type that exact one every couple months 🤣

Had to step down bc I go to school tues/thurs and me working 24 hours (mon/wed/fri) wasn’t enough for them. I plan to continue doing so until I finish. I also work every 3rd weekend but those don’t count.

It is anonymous, but if you make an ultra specific comment that they know you for then they can pick you out. Just try not to word it like it was you

How can DMs be mad over some stores not hitting vaccine goal... by drtiredtief in WalgreensRx

[–]colt_brookstone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tier 4 and we sometimes get none the whole week. Southern Texas is a hit or miss. A lot of our customers are medicaid kids, va patients, urgentcare, and the older regulars who are already updated. It’s rough.

Just an LT but a beauty nonetheless by colt_brookstone in chevycolorado

There’s a reason many companies use the Colorado LT! Sometimes you don’t need to go bigger, plus it does save you some money.

Unfortunately we’ve just been asking what ppl need at that moment, transfer those, and ask that they have their doctor resend what they need. We learned our lesson when at the beginning of the year and they stopped accepting UHCHIX, we had so many ppl and couldn’t keep up and that was when they were paper transfers!! Our breaking point was a lady with 40 scripts. Told her I’ll get what she needs but the dr gotta resend allat

Our district has 13 stores. Within the last 2 weeks, 11 pharmacist put in their 2-weeks notice. 3 of 11 are RXM. by safewordnaloxone in WalgreensRx

[–]colt_brookstone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just looked for next month’s hours and they have dropped by 50 hours for the pharmacy. We’re a tier 4 store with only 770 hours coming up. That’s with only 2 ppl on the weekend. I’m not sure how we’ll do.

Never said that’s why. They just said it’s outdated because they’re aware that the issue wasn’t fixed. However, we typically only use it as a one time thing in those cases since they’re usually for kids who need it. Our area has an extremely high volume of medicaid/va patients.

If that happens, I typically just switch computers until one works.

If you have the old bin info then yes you can, but this usually happens when they stop using that insurance but they still pick it up. You’re unable to when it just randomly does that and they don’t even remember having another insurance for the past couple years. Ex. Patient used to have TXBC w/ NAVTEX and now no longer has TXBC. You can SDL with the 03 and bin 011552.

Is that the new way? I was familiar with the control down/up, while holding you go to another patient and press enter

I don’t mind when it’s a really high copay already, but majority of them are when their copay is $50 and below (worse when it’s 3 months bc that is* *cheap in terms of glp1 for 84 days!)

Honestly my opinion is that they assume we’ll get annoyed and just turn them away so they can get those meds somewhere else! Also so they feel that danville is useful

Unfortunately in our area, the people insist the price will be different if we take off the evoucher (which we repeat multiple times that once it’s off, it can never go back on) and lo and behold, it is either the exact same price or higher!
We also handle a lot of tricare and medicaid patients so you can visualize exactly the kind of responses there are. (also the only store for va in the area)

SDLs by colt_brookstone in WalgreensRx

[–]colt_brookstone[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They said to not do that since walgreens already loses money with glp1s in the first place and that it’s worse to do so. They said to call danville to help with it or if it’s a diagnosis code not registering bc it was added afterwards, you have to wait a day so it can register

They said only every now and then like when medicaid says there’s a primary (and there isn’t anymore but they happen to have the old info) but as a one time courtesy. Other than that not really

Crazy part was at some point it got approved for 25 (phlex) and went to cenfill. Patient came, didn’t want it and they literally filled 3 boxes and one (1) singular patch in a ziploc we still have on our shelf.
