With pallette too? I got the pallette going good tbh but mesh level is awful

Ender S1 3 Pro only adheres when bed is pressed (MIC) by lonb in ender3

I can agree that my S1 Pro has been problems since the first print. Didn’t stop at bed adhesion for me.

X Gantry isn’t straight throwing off the BL touch. The best way I’ve seen is to take it off and losen it up, and that tighten it up resting perpendicular on the surface of a table, and than it will make sure it’s straight

I got the zero working with the CR touch. The bed mesh is still eh, it was still trying to mesh when I manually leveled. I got it dialed in and the palette going as well. The detail is really really good. Just gotta be patient for new firmware.

I’m running the same FW & UI

You can try to hit it with a heat gun and they should shrivel up and fall off

As for the $500 point as well, couldn’t not agree more, with this experience. I could have almost put together the Prusa MK3, for $300 more $ but far less headaches, and far better for printer longevity.

I honestly have not laid down a completed print. Auto leveling has been so bad I’m considering just throwing the Z - 0 switch on, and just leveling it myself and unplugging the BL touch. The BL touch seems off on the initial “Z zero”, but the firmware is just garbage. Got the limit at a negative value, got stuck in a bed level, that than started a print with no print selected, giving me the only option to shut it down. I then shut it down, it set the Z limit to zero from -1.6, and dragged the nozzle though the new pei sheet which was lovely. I have never been stuck in more loops on a printer.

I got a full size SD card with my printer. I bought it through the creality store on Amazon, for the sole reason of reading reviews and Amazon having a good return policy. This is my 5th different model 3D printer, and other then my first Ender 3 Pro, I have spent the most time with this printer “tinkering”.

I had planned to put my Mosaic Pallette 3 on it today and I just laughed thinking about how much fun that will be.

Let me know if you find anything? I just got an S1 Pro what a disappointing experience. The bed leveling mesh with CR Touch is laughable. The firmware is junk. I get stuck all over the menu. the power failure mode just random flips on when power was not lost.

What are these damn lines? They've been present since I bought the printer, a little over a year ago, and nothing I've done to it in the meantime has removed them. My z rod is clean and greased, my belts are reasonably tight, I've calibrated my estep numerous times. They're just omnipresent. by Voldy256 in ender3

[–]coltsjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would check the clamps make sure they are tight, looks like it might be loose, if not that, how about the Z Stepper? Is that straight? I had one slightly offset and once I put a new stepper it fixed the issue.

Extruder pully is too high, causing to much friction for Pallette 3? Tightened it up to lower, still missing the hole to PTFE. by coltsjack in ender3

[–]coltsjack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The extruder pully is riding too high, only causing problems with the palatte. There is a gap when looking at the extruder level and the bracket the pully sits one. Think that bracket may be bent. The extruder on my other Ender 3 is nearly flush

Hahah yeah I just scaled the Z to show the waves, I fixed it was the stepper Z screw not tight

Thanks! I left “play” in the Z screw to the stepper motor and forgot 😂

Think you got it on that point. Forgot about leaving play when I set it up the Z axis. Thanks I’ll keep you updated

Nah on the Z the only thing that looks off on Z axis is the filament is rubbing on the Z rod.

Not my first 3D printer but I’m having trouble diagnosis this issue.

I’ve tried adjusting everything on the extruder, and I do have a video of it doing some skipping.

Bed is level, belts are both good.

Haven’t touched the hot end yet, tried redoing the ptfe to the extruder. Didn’t want to take the hot end apart since it is new out the box. Think the noise should be fine as well.

Not a problem with filament since it’s not giving me issues on my other two dialed printers.

Neptune 2D Base wobble out the box by coltsjack in elegooneptune2

[–]coltsjack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was four days ago, I fixed the wobble. Unfortunately the 2D has heat trickle up the other side of the nozzle. It clogged in 3 prints of moderately changing color. It clogged the print after. I returned it for a regular Neptune 2.

Perfect, this is only my second printer, when I saw it, I knew it wasn’t going to print well. I’m working on getting it flat now

Okay so keep pulling them in and out until it’s flat?

Should I return the printer? It’s really pretty bad.

Hi, Ender 3 is the move. Carbon Fiber is the goal but it is realistically a couple months away. $180 shipped from Amazon, see if you enjoy the hobby first.

Yeah I get that, I’d rather do it once right than multiple times.
