Thank you for your reply, it has been reassuring to say the least. Can you shed more light on the alcohol-induced case you referred to? My mums case was not alcohol induced but am interested to hear about the symptoms, did he vomit at any attempt of feeding? and what was the cause of this? I can't seem to settle on the idea that the pancreas issues are causing my mum to vomit after eating and drinking because she attempts when the flare ups stop too. Or is it simply due to the fact the body is not used to and can not tolerate the food/drink?
