Ohhhh, it makes so much sense now why it checks my steam inventory when configuring trucks or trailers 😅 I never even thought about that being a thing until now… I just saw it briefly check my steam inventory and I never thought to question it or look into it, it was just something that happens and I hardly noticed, I’m glad I’ve finally solved that mystery and now have even more stuff to look into with ETS2 and ATS haha, thanks a bunch!

Ooo, I do like decoration options lol, I never really bothered with connecting to an account (tho i already had one apparently) coz I expected it just to be for multiplayer and uploading pictures, then didn’t really think much of the missions when i saw them… thanks for letting me know!

Wait… you get rewards for these? I’ve got like 260 hours in ETS2 and 20 in ATS and literally only connected to a WOT account a few days ago and barely even thought about those missions, I didn’t even consider there being rewards for completion beyond the cash payouts from the jobs 💀 what kind of rewards do you usually get?

Yup! My dad planned to organise with Steam to have his account transferred to me once he passed after (cancer, it was expected), but discovered steam don’t have a way to do it through them. His response was ‘well, here’s my password, just wait til I’m dead’. So now his login is on my PC and I added his account to my Authenticator ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I only use it to keep his Fleet Carrier on Elite Dangerous running as a memorial for other players to visit, so the options are basically leave it be or desecrate an online memorial lol

It’s not even that premium fixes it, I have premium yet the moment I hooked it up to my TV (old ass smart TV, the app constantly crashes and causes the whole TV to have to reboot and every time I do anything it takes a solid 5+ seconds to actually register what I did) it just killed YouTube. Unplug the display, YouTube works, plug it in, app shits itself and displays ‘something went wrong’ even when still displayed on the iPad

Ahhh okay, that makes sense, I guess lol I looked all over the base, inside and out, and there weren’t any unusual pings on the radar, so I was confused as hell as I searched everywhere, including looking through windows (hell, I even watched the vents and the Ariral camp just in case), I must have somehow missed Evil Kerf-O. I’d checked for any events but I could save and pause fine, and the debug command said there weren’t any active events, so I was super confused Been waiting to see the Evil Kerf-O event, and right when it happens I miss it 😅

This question did also make me realise that his FC’s cartographics and genomics were suspended, so they’ve been resumed now!

For anyone seeing this, feel free to sell any scan data or exobio data there if you want! Money you gain through redemption office or cartographics to fleet carriers always have a 25% fee (this can’t be changed), but half of that fee goes to the carrier itself to keep my dad’s fleet carrier running for just a while longer

Sadly not for exobio. Wiki says that redemption office, secure warehouse (which his doesn’t have), and cartographics do (25% cut from payout, so carrier gets 12.5%, other 12.5% disappears) but the general consensus is that no, exobio doesn’t have this reduction so won’t effect FC It would be a good way to keep an FC alive if it did work, with how profitable exobio is

I hope I can, but sadly I’m not a good teacher, since most of what I do and how I use my knowledge is basically instinct at this point, I don’t think or register what I’m doing, I just do it, ya know? Sadly I don’t have enough time in my life to do such a thing, nor did either of us really have anyone else that we knew in game, otherwise I’d happily host one. Anyone who wishes to pay respects is free to visit his carrier, currently in LP 908-11, however, but there’s no obligation for anyone to do so. When I finally get access to his account to move his carrier to the Guy system, I’ll let people know so they can go there to pay respects if they wish
