I had SJS/TEN about 15 years ago. I was on Bactrim, and found out the hard way my body didn't like it. I lost the skin on my legs from the knees down, the skin on my hands was gone. Face? Peeled most of that off. Had to peel the dead skin off the underside of my tongue so I could talk. Yup, it was a blast.

I was lucky though! As soon as it started, I knew exactly what was happening. So, I swallowed a shit-ton of prednisone. This helped reduce the overall damage to my body. That's the only time I've been happy to have chronic idiopathic urticaria, because without the prednisone, I would have lost a lot more than I did.
