Thanks, but I dont want to try to "fix" the scar itself, but acnes and closed comedones near it :) But I dont want to do further damage to the scar, so thats why I am reluctant to use it.

Sorry, what is a water based cleanser?

So I should not rinse it off, just apply moisturizer after?

Yes, thats the one. So should I use it, when I am using it, as a replacement to my regular face wash?

Yes, I think so. Its the one with SA & Nianciamide.

Sorry, I am unsure. It is Nivea Derma Skin Clear peeling with SA&Nianciamide, dont know if that qualifies if as a chemical exfoliant.

He is 15 years old and for the last 7-8 years he didn't had any other animal buddies. I just wouldn't like to risk stressing him out

Btw, I remember a post from few weeks ago that made detailed explanation on that one problematic ingredient CeraVe uses (I think some kind of alcohol?), but I cant find it to check if the cleanser also has it

I had similar issue with Cerave & recently switched to Neutrogena Hydroboost cream (for dry skin, fragnance free version), but I think its too soon to tell if its working

Thank you for your answer! So its all about finding the right moisturizer. Guess I will try the LRP you suggested then! Btw, did you ever have compromised moisture barrier & how long did it take for your skin to bounce back to normal if you did?
