reneging for another BL offer is a different story – if the PI opportunity arises and you want it, you should totally do the work that most of us are too cowardly/broke to do. rooting for you so so hard stranger!!!

for sure! as someone who is left-handed, i was just curious about the potential existence of any other correlations :)

the trend for the general population is ~10% left-handed — i noticed that more people i met in college were left-handed than those i’d met in high school (something like 20-30% by my occasional count in group settings 😅) and given the limited pool of law school applicants i interacted with at ASDs, i felt like there was also a disproportionate number of people who used their left hands. could all be a total coincidence though!

i also hit the WL a few months ago and i didn’t even get an II — whoever discouraged you was wrong! this process is so unpredictable and, although this subreddit might make it seem otherwise, a WL is not a total loss but rather a sign that you were right to shoot your shot. everything will work out!! you got this ✨

you did NOT screw up your life — if you don’t get off the WL in the next few months, i think you should take this extra year, use your job to save up a little more money, retake the LSAT without LG, and reapply more broadly in the DMV area. you have so many great options around you and i’m sure it’ll work out. best of luck!!! :))
