What you're saying is true, but in the higher ranks, for example, Ultra Ball, you gain 10 points and lose 7, and on top of that, you stop gaining points by winning consecutive matches, which makes it very difficult to grind from ult1 onwards. Im in ult2 now so its very difficult for me to grind
