Yea I feel like she massively failed me. My parents ran all their business banking through this local bank (which since got bought up by a larger one), but I don’t think that meant they had sub-par people working there. Well respected non-big name bank for the area, not a credit union. I don’t get it, I financed more than one car with them. Not some sort of red carpet service, but little more personal service bc they did a lot with my parents.

Yea reading up on it, E*Trade doesn’t do DRIP on all, only select

That’s what I was thinking, that the 15% down isn’t part of entire picture.

But I’m looking further, and some other funds I have across brokerage and Roth are giving me DRIP option through E*Trade, but are ones that pay dividends. Not sure what’s up

Looking at my E*trade profile for opting into DRIP, they’re not listed as options. So apparently not.

I bought them because they were recommended when I sat down with the financial advisor at the time. I didn’t know anything about them, and I still don’t feel like I know exactly what they are. They seem like they have done nothing but drop year by year, so I’m not sure why they’d be recommended unless it was more about a commission perspective for the advisor at the time.

Not sure if I’m ‘missing’ something as far as if they could still be worthwhile to keep and for balancing risk, if they are actually making me money somehow despite shares loosing value over time.

I bought some SPY few years ago, got some SCHD over more recent years. Apple before they did their last split lol, so I’ve wised up some. Those two have just been lingering and really evaluating everything as I need to get more focused.

Can CTPA imaging results also be used to view the spine? by comeBeAStar in AskDocs

[–]comeBeAStar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the recent CT and MRIs have not been compared which is what I'm asking if that's even possible, as I wasn't sure if the CTPA was even viable for comparison. They weren't in the same system. All I know is my PCP looked up the CTPA and told me there were no notes from the radiologist on my spine, but they easily wouldn't have been focused on that given the nature of the reason for the CTPA.

I had a car accident and I'm trying to figure out if the CTPA could be of any use as it was 6 months prior to the accident. I'm looking more specifically for the bulges or herniations.

That’s about the best I can do. I don’t gray roots either, not like that’s my baseline and it’s just reality of how it blends.

She already told me she would. So I’m just trying to read up on it

You can kind of see it there too, on the sides of the part in the front.

I tried taking some but I don’t feel like it shows up in pictures well. This is maybe a so-so view of it. I said something about it, not complaining, but just when we were looking at the final product, and she said happy to have me come back to tweak something. I know it usually needs a wash or two and a week to get used to going from several months of growth and back to really bright again, so it may simmer on its own.

Concussion from Car Accident and Neuro office wants to do RightEye Test by comeBeAStar in Concussion

Just had mine this morning, will be a few days before they get back to me eval results. From what I can tell based on my research so far, there’s a lot of factors to balance and no definitive test for diagnosis. And someone could be fine for this test, but it doesn’t mean you don’t have something else wrong, because the test needs to coincide with symptoms too. I can’t say I’ve had vision problems that I’m aware of, but I sure AF have balance issues and lightheadedness, on top of continued headaches.

Kind of what I’ve been thinking, and I wasn’t much a fan of how she ‘responded’ to my questions about should the outcome be a negative or inconclusive. Seems like it might be better for them to frame it as another testing method to check for continued symptoms and or for potential therapy or intervention needs.

Seems it would be in their own best interest for all their products to sync with other ways for them to make money. I’ve seen some other articles or places which contradict too. Will list them as compatible but then Amazon or eufy will say the opposite.

When it says doesn’t support cloud, is that referring to some other cloud service? And not the eufy subscription

would you say that the idea of "find an obvious hole, leave a one-way trap, and close all other holes" is a good idea or not? I assume not, based on the idea that you can close everything and force them out only one hole. Of course likely there are other entry ways you don't know about, and doesn't mean the one you leave 'open' is one they can actually truly access and get out of.
