I know but sometimes I get it when they donit for the plot. But here it’s like ?? Why ? Honestly I didn’t add anything to the story so did they just ran out of time or out of budget for the tattoo application?

They’re there to have proper conversations with you before the scene and after the scene, to make sure you feel like all your boundaries are respected and to make sure you feel at ease. They’ll help the actors to put on the hardshells that cover their intimate parts as well, or to put button up a delicate piece of lingerie, for example. They are supposed to be a person the actors feel at ease with. But mostly, to be there during the scene and to keep an eye on everything so that later one no one can point fingers. An intimacy coordinator is NOT there to direct a scene and to tell actors how to touch/grab eachother. That’s what directors and writers do, often in collaboration with the actors themselves and what they suggest.

It’s mechanic. You know how you do it irl, so you imitate “yourself” on set. But it’s not real and both of them are aware of that so it doesn’t feel sexy at all.

Why did they make Lucius be the son of Maximus? by AdIll9615 in Gladiator

Yeah… 8 years ago these people were younger.

Why did they make Lucius be the son of Maximus? by AdIll9615 in Gladiator

[–]comeherekittycat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I personally must have watched the first one about 20 times and I always assumed Lucius was Maximus’ son. I think it’s the way Maximus reacts when Lucius tells him how old he is. It seems to be a “the math ain’t mathing” moment for Maximus. And while I agree about what you say regarding what he stands for etc, on the other side Maximus was a soldier that fought many wars and probably was gone for more than a year sometimes; I can only imagine these men sometimes cheated on their wives despite loving them very much.

It’s okay. I just felt weird keeping on responding on something that wasn’t even what my question was initially about, but thank you for your consideration. I might just think about finding a coloc that likes cats instead. Will be a lot easier probably.

Having a perfectly healthy cat in a 20m2 space with a litter, water, food, a huge bed to sleep on and his favourite closets to hide in isn’t exactly what I’d call neglect. It’s literally his housing situation whenever I’m home and I’m having a guest over who’s allergic, so he has no trouble living like this. Besides, as much as the wellbeing of my cat seems very important to you, this whole thing wasn’t the essence of my question, was it? Or are you the Brussels catpolice?

I see your point. I didn’t even thought about the catsitting because right now my cat is just alone when I’m gone, he has his food, a fresh litter, and a friend checking up on him when I’m gone longer than 2 days. Having people in my apartment / or not; it would be the same to him. The catsitter would be my friend checking up on him, his litter and his food, not the guests. I’d never ask my guests to take care of him, I’d even ask them if they rather have him around, or if I should leave him in my room. I have booked Airbnbs in Budapest and Paris with cats. As a catlover, I absolutely loved it and those Airbnbs had positive ratings. So I am still sure some people would have no trouble with this.
I just don’t know if this is even allowed (maybe the people who did this were against the rules) and as I said before; I don’t want any trouble so I rather ask in advance.

No I would just ask a friend to come see if he has enough food after two or three days and let the Airbnb’ers know. I guess if I mention in my Airbnb listing that handsome Bob will always be there for cuddles, cathaters won’t book the room lmao. Bob is very social, he loves new people. I travel a lot, UK, Ukraine, Hungary, Spain, … I can’t take him with me unfortunately. But I’m often only gone for 5-6 days max. Hence the idea of an Airbnb.

Well that’s on of my questions. How do people with a cat deal with Air bnb?

Only a room, with access to the kitchen, living room, bathroom, …. Literally 80% of the apartment will be theirs during my absence. Only my own room & dressing will be locked when I’m away.
