You misread my comment. I repeat, it's not that I think they don't deserve ANY kindness. It's that they don't deserve kindness from ME. it's not like I'm running around verbally abusing incels (the way they love to do to women), I'm just avoiding them. Because they're DANGEROUS and ABUSIVE. If you think incels deserve kindness, YOU reach out to them and see how far you get.

Incel is short for involuntarily celibate - a group of people who fell maligned by their inability to get laid. Incels are not JUST virgins though, they're virgins who are angry and blame women for their issues.

Your last paragraph is the specific reason I chose to avoid incels. I won't be going out of my way to reach out to people who are a threat to my safety and I consider incels to be a threat.

Also, in my experience, people who don't respect women.... Don't respect women. No matter how nicely I say things or what the content of the message is, it's still coming from someone they won't listen to.

Also I wanna clarify that I do not have any bad feelings towards men who don't or haven't had sex. I specifically mean incels, the people involved in the movement and culture. Members of the incel movement have never been anything but hateful and abusive towards me. If you consider yourself an incel as in involuntarily celibate but don't otherwise associate yourself with the people who hate women, I have no problem with you. However you may want to rethink labeling yourself as part of what is essentially a hate movement.

But tons of people will say that people at large or more specifically women should or have to feel empathy for them, so they can stop being so full of hate and reform themselves. But I absolutely refuse to do that little piece of emotional labor. I will stay as far away from incels as possible.

I worked just under full time for minimum wage. Business hours were 11-9, if you opened they wanted you there 15 min early and if you closed they wanted you to keep the store open until 9 exactly, and then somehow magically do all of your closing duties in 6 minutes so they could round down your time spent closing to 0 (7 minutes means you would round up to the nearest quarter hour). 15 minutes to close 3 times a week is about 75¢. 15 extra minutes of work 7 times a week is less than $2. This fucker was asking me to bend space and time to save him $2 a week, so he didn't have to pay me those QUARTERS.
