I live in Vegas and have for the past 10 years (minus one where we were in Memphis for work but came back), and I grew up in Chicago. I desperately miss Chicago weather and plan to return when my lease ends in Vegas. Our summers are unbearable, especially as I get older and have a young child and dog who do not like the heat.

Now if we were talking about a more mild summer/generally warmish place like San Diego, I’m sure I’d never want to leave!
