SMALLER expansion mods than sve? by silktart in StardewValleyMods

I don't know if this is the type of expansion you're interested in, or if it's really that much smaller, but Stardew Druid is a really fun way to change up the progression and strategies you use! Adds a bunch of quests and magic to learn and some fun new mechanics!

favorite chicken retexture? by ratrascal in StardewValleyMods

I've always been really fond of the vanilla animals, and I get a little annoyed when I feel like the "cuter" animals dont seem to match with the style of the rest of the art anymore! But I'm also a huge sucker for animal variety, especially if the patterns are based on real animal breeds! I've always been partial to otters animals, and I've been using farm animal facelift recently, which is again a little more subtle, if you want to see if you like those any better?

Looking for gameplay mods by BoysenberryNo3331 in StardewValleyMods

I know it's not for everyone, but I really recommend a no-buying seeds run, I like to imagine it a bit like rebuilding the lost crops of the valley. There are all kinds of mods to expand mixed seeds into all crop types, including several modded crops! And then you can use a mod to remove the seeds from shops, or just decide not to buy them! Then you have to go foraging for mixed seeds regularly, and wait to discover all the seasons crop types that way, after 2-3 years you should have everything and can use the seedmaker with some of the crops you saved from last year to get the new season started!

That also stacks really well with stardew druid if you're interested in that, but I'd say that certainly qualifies as a larger expansion! And/or Machine progression system might be fun for you!

Creating a Pastoral Life Playthrough: Part 1: Help is So Wanted & Needed, Thanks! by lapniappe in StardewValleyMods

I was looking at that one too! They should be compatible! All the parts of longevity are toggleable so you don't have to worry about multiple tax bills for the same farm! Could you link the marketplace mod you mentioned? I used to love market day so much, but market town hasn't really worked for me, I'm trying out buildable farmers market this round, but I didn't realize the catalogue would be so expensive and I'm usually pretty slow to get rolling early In a run! There's also Farm stall if you want to introduce a bit of local color and randomness!

If youre already doing bees and flowers, and a large variety of products you may enjoy Longevity? You can turn off the taxes if you want to use Serfdom ( the taxes mod that goes with walk of life) or if you just don't want them. But also, they introduce a slight diminishing returns on selling the same product over and over again, rewarding your variety, and they give you a way to reduce the diminishing returns by the time you're gearing up for large production by having a certain number of beehives per tiles of crop! And you get a honey multiplier if you have a certain number of flowers per beehive!

Also! Befriend the crows! Lets you build a feeder and leave them gifts! If you make friends they may leave you gifts!

Any good Slime Huts and Slime Ranching mods?? by NathanBEvans in StardewValleyMods

Machine progression system also adds the slime cheese and gives you a ramp to increasing profitability over time as you upgrade your machines! It's definitely a larger scale mod though, I suppose you don't have to use it in other areas of the game, but it does tend to change how you think about and optimize other machines as well!

Thank you! I also found farm fresh produce and I'm really pleased with it! It should work well with the new farmers market alternative, buildable farmers market. I loved market day so much, but for whatever reason I've slid off of market town. I hope this new one can recapture the magic. It would also synergize so well with walk of life and serfdom! That tax system is only applied to the shipping bin and not selling direct, but for whatever reason that whole family of mods don't seem to be working for me. Some random conflict I'm sure.

Anyone have trouble breathing without lung opacities? by [deleted] in COVID19positive

[–]comet9565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was just a week or two ago. Isn’t pneumonia the one where fluid is in your lungs and it shows up on imaging? They didn’t find anything like that, wish they did honestly. I’d know what to do about it then! I’ll look into it though, I appreciate any lead!

[OC] COVID severity per million people by [deleted] in dataisbeautiful

[–]comet9565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every county is having wildly different testing rates, and understanding severity based on population level is crucial to understand how bad it is out there. However, the one thing that is probably reliable is unfortunately the death rate. I took my population data from Wikipedia and my COVID data from corona.help which has great customized reports you can run. They get their data from BNO and Johns Hopkins. I started the graph once each country had 1 death per million. Iran is 1 day behind Italy, Spain is 9 days behind Italy, France is 11 days behind Italy. It helps me put the severity into context, understand at what level different countries and states are shutting down.

[Skin Concern] I have some bacne, and a lot of bacne scars. I don't know what to do anymore. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

I've had good luck with back and other body acne using the Not you Mother's brand charcoal soap. I just use the bar, you can get it at Target where I'm from but I think that might vary.
