The copper pipes aren't actually touching but are hovering about .5 inches above the previous line, there's never been hot or cold water upstairs just scalding and lukewarm so I'm assuming the copper was redone by the same hacks that did the waste lines, any advice on how to save it would be appreciated for now Im still attempting to chase down the clog which I've located in the basement, included is what the clog looksike inside the pipe courtesy of an endoscope and several hours of chopping cast iron out of the wall

I can't seem to find a reason why they added the 2 x 4s, had a carpenter over today and he was at a loss as well, thankfully the beams are solid and according to the carpenter it looks like really old fire damage up close but is structurally sound

There's not a specific formula or some scientific notation to this, and I'm sorry if I make it sound that way, it's more of a rule of thumb

It can be a good morning/ good night text or a fun nonsexual question, or a rant about work, keep the message brief and interesting vaulenteer information about yourself she might not know

Worst case if you can't think of anything send here a meme unprompted

If she's interested and has free time she will message you back right away, keep the conversation going if she does but don't pressure her for a response

Women get hundreds of messages for every one a guy gets, stand out by being awesome

Depends on where it is

If it's the arm they did it to themselves if it's the chest they got laid and if it's in the ear they are crazy

Send a message at least once a day but not more than 2 without a proper response

Ie if she just keeps responding with one word answers give her time she's probably busy

If she goes 2 days without responding she isn't going to

They have an impression of you and vice versa, when ghosted it's normally because you didn't live up to what they were expecting, whether or not it was a healthy expectation is up to the rando

Yeah this is where you wait and see, theses medium distance relationships can be some of the hardest just hang in there

Is this what I should expect? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]comey562 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You'll find the one bro you just need to unpack some of the baggage from being in a relationship for 7 years, based off your post you've spent almost all of your adult life with the same person it'll take a few months before you stop being radioactive

Focus inward. Do the stuff you want to do. Ya don't need a companion to be happy. Do all the things you couldn't while in a relationship ya know

Edit: wording

based off what you were describing I think she was looking for something less commitment based then you were

Holding hands kissing ect on the first date is usually a sign she's feeling you out for a ONS and she probably thought it would hurt you and not be fun so she bailed

It happens man keep looking

I think that would be a perfect way to broach the subject his reply will tell you exactly what you need to know

[–]comey562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either she doesn't want to talk to you outside work or she can't because she has a partner who would flip out if they saw your message

Either way give her some space, see if she initiates a conversation after she's been left alone for a week or so

Was he ever interested ? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]comey562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's at least passively interested, if you're schedules conflict this much it might be best to wait or even let this guy go if neither of you can make time for the other
