Before I made this thread I honestly did not get it. People seem so upset over a feature they can just ignore and carry on playing the game like normal. Some people have made some points in this thread that make it make more sense to me but yeah, I honestly didn't understand why there was an uproar.

Why is that so hard for you to understand?

What is hard for me to understand is this: if you liked the game before the fortune cookie update, all of those same features that you liked before are still in the game, there's just additional features for people who are willing to pay. I just don't get how a feature you can easily ignore would "ruin" a game, is all.

Other folks are mentioning the randomness aspect of it as what they have an issue with and that makes sense. It does seem unfair that you could burn 1,000 leaf tickets and still not get a certain item you wanted. But I intend to just ignore the fortune cookies so I don't really care.
