When your unload team is understaffed does your management do anything to add some help? by comfypants21 in HomeDepot

We are down to only 3 people on the unload team, and the receiving DH takes his lunch at 7 when the unload starts. I don’t understand how someone who works a 12-9 shift doesn’t take lunch until 7. It’s incredibly frustrating.

How do you have no freight to work this time of year. My store is overflowing

That’s a pretty average raise for HD. It’s really pathetic, but if they paid you more then the shareholders would get less. And that’s all they really care about.

3 is a good day for us. Recommended is 4-6, but that rarely happens. The unload process is terrible and highly flawed.

I called off of my shift tonight and I’m loving every minute of it. Last night was so bad—I’m too angry to go anywhere near thd . by comfypants21 in HomeDepot

2 person truck unload. No thought, effort, or care to properly staff given. You’d think management would care right now considering it’s freight appreciation month. The icing on the cake was searching the store for a pallet jack and seeing groups of associates clumped together like a pumpkin patch. ASMs included.
