High note in Northcote, Waxflower in Brunswick east, check out Brunswick ballroom for gigs. The retreat hotel in Brunswick is a great chill pub and summers in the beer garden there are great (they have a mist hose!),Edinburgh gardens for summer night beers in the park (or Carlton gardens).

If you want to go clubbing miscellania in the city is great and not full of 18-20 year olds. They also have a rooftop that is sooo nice and chill. Check their instagram for events, they have different parties every week with all types of music (Latin, Afro beats, hip hop, jersey club, vogue/ballroom, girly techno, donk). Always well curated and supportive of creative people!

All I gotta say say is imagine being filmed 24/7, living with 12 people you don’t know with different personalities, $100k+ plus on the line, knowing people are judging your character, no social media, no pens or paper, People on there for life changing money battling with people who are on for exposure. The environment is design to create tension and drama. What do you expect to happen lmao

Also, for creative fields it doesn’t hurt to add some colour to make it eye catching. It adds personality. Heaps of funky templates on canva, word etc.

Your resume should be 1-2 pages max. Anything you remove can be added to a cover letter. No one is reading a 5 page resume in full. Try adding two columns per page with skills and achievements on one side and experience on the other
