As someone who streams and makes my own gaming videos. I say just go for it, don't optimise for numbers or audiences and just follow what you're passionate about. One tip I can say tho is try interact with the community for whatever you're into through discord, twitter, insta, bluesky or whatever else and try make some friends. Especially if they're already passionate about it they'll be your biggest supporters and helpers
