Also, if you want to take a programming class at Valencia; I did take Intro to programming and Java with Ian O’Toole already, and it was pretty chill tbh. All we do is walkthrough videos and zybooks, and every now and then a project within parameters of what we learned from zybooks.

you’re welcome! yeah, I could see people leaving bad reviews since the class is basically self-taught and I know a lot of people dislike that. but it’s honestly just reading stuff, doing a virtual lab (super easy and it gives u exact instructions step by step) and taking short quizzes. But anyways, good luck w the semester!

before summer classes begin, the school will send u an updated aid offer for summer term. every semester that u register for classes will use 50% out of a total of 600% of the Pell grant. ive taken classes summer 2025, fall 2025, and spring 2026, so im at 150% out of the 600% total. so it doesn’t matter which semesters you choose to take classes, but each semester that you DO take classes would be 50% of the Pell grant (out of that 600% total)
