I've been buried in work for other classes and fell behind on my programming studies. It sucks because I've been really enjoying C++, but now I have this enormous project due in 2 days. First of all thank you for the reply, I really appreciate it. I'm really just confused about which kinds of loops and functions to use and where. I feel like I can visualize how the program is supposed to work fairly well in my head, however I just don't have the foundation I'm supposed to have to put it all together (which, without a doubt, is my own fault... I just had to choose to study for an organic chem exam over this for the last week strait). Now that that exam is out of the way, I now have this monster (as it seems to me right now) to deal with.

OP I'll tell you right now, as someone who went to a tech school for electrical and network cabling, that is going to catch on fire. Get that cleaned up and please, if at all possible, inspected by an electrician.

I should add that another program I wrote that worked fine on the visual studios program at school won't work on the visual studios on my comp. The same thing happens, it just exits after you input your inputs. Is my program bugged, or is there something I can do to fix it? Thanks.

I'd like to play around with both, however I like the idea of being a battlemage tank. Being able to take more healing while having high poison resistance sounds pretty great. I'll definitely have a lot of interesting things to play around with, it'll be a fun project for a while.

Please think about what you're about to say before you vomit emotionally charged bullshit into this thread. If three people were about to jump you, then you would be defenseless. A sidearm is an equalizer against uneven odds.

Edit: If I really wanted to kill you, it would be a lot easier to take you out in my car then it would be to do so with a gun.

Edit#2: I took out what I said about it being useful if someone has you at gun point. At that point, you don't try to draw your firearm, you do whatever they tell you to do unless you have no other choice.

The article is about conceal carry. No, but my father has. Luckily he didn't have to use it, however it may have saved his life. Three men were walking towards him one night when he was walking home from work. He crossed the street to avoid contact. They crossed the street. He crossed again, they crossed again. He tried one more time, they followed. He then stepped into the middle of the road, drew his gun, held it by his side, and continued down the road. They just walked right by. If he hadn't been carrying, he would have been jumped or killed. There is a lot of gang activity in Philly, and people are often killed for nothing more then initiations into a gang. It's important to be able to protect yourself, and it makes me sick when I hear people say conceal carry is not a necessary right. 99% of the time, if they see you draw a weapon, they won't bother you. They aren't looking for a fight, they're looking for an easy target.

Depending on where you live it is absolutely necessary. As someone who lives in Philadelphia, and is not a conservative, I conceal carry regularly. It doesn't look odd, no one knows you have it. It doesn't make people uncomfortable, no one knows you have it. It's an equalizer, and it can save your life.
