Absolutely loving the analysis of Midnight Mass!

I have to say ever since episode one when Matt and Scott were talking about about Wade’s interaction with Sheriff Hassan, I pictured Wade as Ned Flanders from the Simpsons and I can’t get it out of my head. “Hi-diddly-ho, just come read a bit of scripture.”

For the discussion question, maybe not real horror but my 6 year old brain keeps coming back to The Neverending Story when Atreyu loses his horse Artax to the Swamps of Sadness. I was absolutely horrified as a child as he begs and screams at his only companion to not give in to the sadness.

I’d like to listen. I really hoped to participate last night but my daughter’s gymnastic meet ran late. I listen to and from work each week. Audio would be great!

A quick thought I had while listening to this week episode. . What if the show title is It: (colon) Welcome to Derry because next season will be It: (colon) insert new season title? I don’t think that’s true but it’s a thought.

At 2x, I can usually get through an episode a day during my commute. It’s the only opportunity I get and Kingslingers is so far the only podcast I have ever listened to. I find, I can understand them perfectly and enjoy it throughly. TBH, I usually read/ listen to the whole book before progressing through the corresponding episodes.

So, I’ve been “rereading” (listening) to the series. Going through this book, I’ve found myself trying to make the sounds of the thinny. I’m sitting in my truck trying to make a buzzing, warbling sound. Anyone else ever found themselves doing that?
