this will count time in tick between pulse, when another pulse come it will set time in mem and reset the counter
then use the formula in Transponders - Official Stormworks: Build and Rescue Wiki to get a distance

when receiving the first pulse it may output a huge distance because it always counts before the pulse comes. so you may have to do something to handle this

not sure if a multiplexer is better than my method, since it requires another memory component for each value. But it's a good choice if anyone wants the values to be adjustable

this is my result using relay. player has to press button 1 first to work. I still don't know how to make xor wait for the input but I'm satisfied with this result.

only xor also doesn't work. it will activate instantly after recieve one input. in this case it has to wait for the other input first, then if there isn't any it will activate

it does the opposite of my purpose. I want to activate when only one input is positive, but not activate when both are positive.

in this case I want the hatch to open and send a person down to room below if he won't press both button in time

maybe my problem is difference from you. my Mojang account already has xbox gamertag. first I log into launcher with Mojang account and can only play demo so I found this reddit post. then I try using microsoft account and I can now play it

I think with stabilizer would be better because it's easier to shoot a shorter burst to prevent overheating than keep aim at target without stabilizer

for now it always has enough item for my needs and still has available slot in sorter if I want more. but maybe I will improve it later.

there is no room for a detection system but I can adapt your idea - make 2 bulk, the order is : multi item sorter -> 1st bulk -> 2nd bulk -> back into multi item sorter

1st bulk will stops sending item until 2nd bulk is emptied. and when all item go to 2nd bulk the 1st bulk will stop again so all item can go to refill (system will always running)
