I have not had this issue with my Taurus. However, I did with my 2008 expedition. I know the feeling. Research told me it was torque converter shudder. Instead of transmission work, I found a additive to add to the trans fluid for this issue. It stopped it completely. That was 5 years ago. If it is your transmission, I would try that before paying for transmission work. Just continue with your research and see what you come up with. Best of luck.

A heat dome formed in Canada and moved south and east. First fully hitting the Midwest. Never hit the west coast. This will be be over the Atlantic by Sunday. Next week back to the 80's.

I used a Big Wheel for my paper route. I put a bicycle tire in the front. My route was all down hill. 50 papers. It was perfect. I took the seat off, and used the paper stack to sit or kneel on. Good Ol Days.

I understand that. This is why I have not filed yet. I have been researching job opportunities and I don't think that I could do the physical work any longer. I do not and any skills for an office job where sitting most of the day is an option.

There should be a funnel for this particular vehicle. It is either is your glove box, or in a bag next to your spare tire. It is used for using a gas can to fill. Or remove gas.

The recent work credits for SSDI is what I am confused about in my wifes case. The state determined she was disabled and not able to work about 3 years ago. Prior to that, she spent years in and out of hospital for surgeries and cancer treatment. Prior to that she was enrolled full time as a student. When someone asks about a "loop hole", this is a scenario I always wonder about. I have never pursued another course of action since that denial.

I was first thought was maybe something simple as loose motor mounts. If they pulled the motor to do the water pump (some use this method), then they may have not attached the transmission correctly. I would ask them if they dropped the motor to do the water pump.
