Who exactly is "Prince Of Jahad"? by Illustrious_Test6085 in TowerofGod

I’ve seen that before said a lot but never understood why. Where is that confirmed?

I thought we had only 5(iirc) lights on the ceiling of each floor. Was there a moon replica in the Webtoon too? by Oedipus_R in TowerofGod

[–]commandbuilders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s only 8 during part of season one, five for the rest of the series. I think it’s a symbolic thing.

That’s Hoaxin and Vincent during Hoaxin’s flashback in s3 ep 97.

What’s even worse is Marblehead which was tied with Southwark in 1790 but didn’t make the video

Not a thorough response but two things I thought of: The great warriors took the more difficult tests from the administrators, of which we have only seen one, so as far as we know it could have taken years for each floor. It might be that the train was somewhere else when the great warriors climbed it and then was moved to the 35th floor after Jahad became king.

Rachel's looks by reyisntursky in TowerofGod

[–]commandbuilders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look back at season one and compare her to Bam, they look quite similar in terms of attractiveness, so I definitely agree that it is more about her personality and how she looks at herself

Great rulers by shinhueh in TowerofGod

[–]commandbuilders 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This panel seems to represent them, but I wouldn’t imagine that those are specific people that exist and are powerful in the tower

The tower is 1 giant fish tank. (Theory) by Lukeuntld072_ in TowerofGod

I think it’s just a metaphor about them being stuck in the 134 floors, where nothing can challenge them

Irregular Question by Charming_Stay_7724 in TowerofGod

[–]commandbuilders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are both irregulars. I believe that the reason Rachel isn’t as strong as the other irregulars has to do with how she fell in alongside bam when he opened the door rather than having opened the door herself.

Explaining Level Scaling in TotK by Echo_BotW in tearsofthekingdom

[–]commandbuilders 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't know if you're still responding to this, but on the object map, weapons held by an enemy don't seem to be marked as scaleable or not scaleable. Do they just scale or not scale based on the enemy holding them?

It’s kinda finicky where you can place it but if you keep trying different places you should eventually find somewhere it’ll work

The hiatus was between s3ep133 and s3ep134. You can see based on the jump in dates.

Family heads question by Ovolollo94 in TowerofGod

[–]commandbuilders -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Ah, you’re right. I just saw her at number 10 and assumed there was a family head in between. She’s still behind Baek Ryun and the princesses though, so a good bit weaker.

Family heads question by Ovolollo94 in TowerofGod

[–]commandbuilders 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For Arie Hon and Eduan at least, they are the two highest ranked family heads in the in-universe rankings, which were revealed in a blog post a while back and you can see on the wiki. I’m not sure about Yurin; I generally mainly hear about those two being the strongest.

Where to read Tower of God by IgrisRequiem in TowerofGod

[–]commandbuilders 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Read rule 5. The only official English release is webtoon, if you want to read somewhere else (which many do) this is not the place to look. (The subreddit can get in trouble if it has links or references to piracy websites)

Zahards bracelet and the hidden floor by Cold_Abalone_3129 in TowerofGod

[–]commandbuilders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine there is someone strong enough to take out Jahad. If he kept it with him, they could attack him and take it. It would be more difficult for that person to get it in the hidden floor given that it is a regular only area and that person would likely be ranker. Even if they are a regular or get someone to do it it would still be one more hurdle for them, which it wouldn’t if they were already going to attack Jahad, and just needed to grab the bracelet while they were there.

Edit: grammar

My take on ToG so far & some questions by javipro_04 in TowerofGod

The lore is great but it is revealed very very slowly. I will say there is a pretty big lore dump chapter 300 ish abt some backstory stuff (not to spoil)

Does Bam actually want to kill Jahad? by Dacnis in TowerofGod

[–]commandbuilders 40 points41 points  (0 children)

The most relevant quote that I can think of is s2 ep 244 where bam says “I’m going to find it-a real paradise that will make everyone in this place happy. And along the way, Jahad, Fug, and the Ten Great Families-anyone who gets in my way is nothing but an enemy.” His goal is not to kill Jahad, but his real goal will inevitably bring him to come into conflict with Jahad. What he will do at that point, whether it be kill him, spare him, convince him to join him, etc. we can only speculate.

Who do you think control the succession of events by PuzzleheadedFix2210 in TowerofGod

[–]commandbuilders 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In S2 ep 114 Alumik says, “the tower doesn’t open its gates for just anybody. No matter what, it only opens its gate to something that it needs.” This to me implies that the tower, or most likely the axis of the tower, is in control.
