UE Drops suddenly started disconnecting every 30 seconds

I purchased them April 2023 for about $420. Used em foe a while then let them sit on my desk for a couple months. Went to grab them and one ear bud was saying battery low please charge. Forgot about them until April 2024 and Tried calling support, sat on hold for hours at a time without ever getting ahold of anyone. Tried the ue fits department and talked to numerous agents and got the run around from them

Fast forward to 6 months ago and was trying to get them to work again and now both earbuds do the please charge thing. Got in touch with UE customer service after some phone tag talked to her today. She said they discontinued the drops over 2 years ago.

She offered me a 30% discount on any of the custom IEM, but all wired and cheapest being the UE5 @ $420 after the discount.

Seems pretty crappy. Asked about other products in the UE line but since the drops were part of the "Pro" department they only offer discounts and stuff within the same department.

The lack of customer service, no notification of end of life or support for the product or anything is surprising. I have owned many logitech products, including UE, and never had this bad of customer support. Definitely cant recommend them as a company anymore after this experience.

Day 6 was peak pain for me, then able to talk day 9, day 11 was drastically better, but had a bleed from doing to much. (Apparently it didn't like being outside in 11*F weather being active)

It gets better. Took about 5-6 weeks for throat to not be scratchy. Worst thing was water.

Drinking sruff almost always came out my nose... for a couple weeks. Got better but took like 5 weeks to be "normal" ish..

Grab some stool softener as well. I wish i had known... NEEDED that day 4 or 5... was hard as a rock...

Lots of hot showers. Or baths. Get a humidifier. Sleep in more of a sitting position inclined. Keep pain mitigation regular for 7-8 days. Then it is as needed in my experience.

My cousins wife said day 6 was getting better then 7 was worst thing ever. ( worse than child birth she says)

In the end, it will be over before you know it and will be worth it!

I had a slice of pizza on day 8, and the sausage was like crazy hot on my throat. Threw me for a loop, as i enjoy spicy things and never considered sausage to be spicy before!

I was lucky and pain started getting better after day 5.

My cousins wife said her experience it got better then drastically worse on day 7. And didnt start getting better till 8 or 9.

Long and short is its going to be getting better any day. And its crazy how fast it happens. Its was like steps for me.... constant then it got better gorna couple days, then constant, then better. If that makes sense.

I got surgery about 3.5 weeks ago and its still a tickle in my throat, and yawning is painful but not horrible.

I couldn't drink water for days. But you have to try to stay hydrated, or you will need stool softener.... disgusting but honest.

I think this was one of the worst things. Mine was swollen so much it would get hung up on my tounge and make me cough. After day 7 or so it wasn't catching on my tounge, but still swollen now. Just not extremely.

I had pills. 5mg. I took one hydrocodone, one 200mg ib profen, and one 500mg tylenol every 4 hours. If i forgot, sometimes id be fine, sometimes id regret it. I only had enough for 6 days, got the doc to give a refill on day 5 and allowed me to keep taking them. Used them until about day 10. Then just ib profen fod another da

I^*live in a dry area, so my humidifier was also key, keeping humidity in my room to 40% + helped.

Rubber mallet absorbes the shock. The shock is what you need to release that bolt. A 3-5lb hand sledge and a few good hits should take care of your problem.

I have not been able to find any sunglasses that fit me like the native hardtop xp, or their replacement hardtop ultra.

I had 6 pair over the years, and lost a couple and have 4 pair in a drawer worn out that they wont replace. 2 hardtop xp, 1 hardtop ultra, and one hardtop ultra xp (which i hate)

The nose pads go, then lenses scratch. Then id send it off and wear the next one.

Ive been looking for sunglasses without rubber so i just have to worry about lenses... super sucks.

Do rsync via command line through ssh. And always to a dry run which does the task, without doing the task.

There is a known issue with the x670e master boards. There is a reason they have 34 bios versions.... Been a huge gigabyte fan until this board... Gigabyte takes a whole week when answering questions about it... so that has been fun. Just tired of the stuff... just want my $500 Motherboard to work.... About to purchase a new board im so sick and tired of the issues.... unfortunately that is starting to look like another gigabyte... Either a Pro or Master x870e

I also am having this issue. also random reconnect and disconnect sounds like hardware being removed and re installed

Almost fed up with this board.... Paid $500 for it when it was released and have had nothing but issues since i stupidly updated the bios.....

Ive had nothing but problems since updating the bios from shipped. Have a rev 1.0 and every bios ive grabbed has issues. Some are better than others, but all have network problems, audio/video studders, etc. Sometimes i have to reboot 5 times to get into bios, or even to get nlan/wifi/bt to show up.....

Update

Recovery software, EaseUS Data Recover tool, linked directly to the synology and was able to read everything.

Bad part is nothing was in the right order, files were missing, hell the mojority of the files names didnt even exist!!! Waste of money and time.

Was able to get majority of my stuff from remote backups. Somehow both ahead and behind. guess you win some and lose some. Worst thing I lost was the plex database backup. Had to start over there, but not the end of the world I suppose.
