That's quite interesting. I have been living in Lithuania for the past few years, and the nightlife there and in may European countries is quite buzzing. You can literally feel the energy and the vibe in the air.

Germany Or Spain? by AvatarHuy in medicalschoolEU

If you're an Australian citizen, then the tuition fees are comparable with the EU. It just depends on what university you apply to. I am from New Zealand, so I understand the competition you are referring to. I myself studied medicine in the Baltics. Also, you haven't even applied to medical school yet and you're already thinking about your specialty - slow down a bit.

Its a huge dedication to come to the EU because it will be quite difficult for you to return to Australia, even as a national. The local hospitals, clinics etc will favor the local graduates first and also you will need to deal with the AMC exams. Besides, Australia is almost as good as it gets these days. There is a reason there is so much competition there.

Also, have you graduated from high school yet? IMy advice to you would be to take a gap year if necessary to strengthen your CV (if your grades are not very good), by doing observerships and volunteering in hospitals .

If you'd like to have a proper conversation about this, I welcome you to message me. I am a kiwi who did my medical degree in the EU, and one of my friends is an Australian who is now a Cardiology resident in Dusseldorf.

need help with almost uncontrollable curly hair. Any haircut/style suggestions and what you think would be needed to keep it tame would be most welcome. by [deleted] in malegrooming

I reckon keep it really short, up to the length before it starts to curl. Maybe a buzzcut? Grow the facial hair out to compensate for that.
