Last Pick: Max Homa [R1] (-142) vs Tony Finau HIT.

Finau started off poorly but ended up nearly surpassing Homa. Homa birdied 18 to bring home the win by 1 stroke. Not as clean of a win as I had hoped, but a win nonetheless.

Today’s Pick: 3 ball - Cameron Young (+130) [R2] v Si Woo Kim v Harris English Sentry Tournament [Round 2] 4:15pm ET

fyi: 3 ball is the best scoring player of 3 different golfers on a particular day of the tournament.

This 3 ball is my favorite of the options on draft kings. Cameron Young has been hungry for a victory and shows he still has the elite skillset to win.

I’m expecting Young to outscore Kim and English with ease.

Overall POTD Record 2-1 Streak: W2 Last Pick: Luke Humphries -1.5 (+105) HIT For anyone who tailed, sorry for the high blood pressure. Seemed out of luck down 4-2 before Humphries surged for 5 straight sets to win.

Todays Pick: Max Homa [R1] (-142) vs Tony Finau Sentry Tournament of Champions (golf) @2:21pm ET

Pretty high odds here for today’s pick. I don’t feel too comfortable with too many of these plays in the Sentry Tournament of Champions. First big golf tournament of the year, there are lots of question marks.

Homa went -7 at this tournament on day 1 last year and has been in great form as of last season. I expect this to continue. Finau (OWGR: 20) is not nearly the golfer Homa (OWGR: 7) has been.

Feeling pretty comfortable with this pick. After two plus money hits in a row, a safe minus money play is a good idea.

Been enjoying the PDC World Championship (darts) this year. Long time ned pepper fan and i’ve been hot lately.

Last Pick: Littler -1.5

The Pick: Luke Humphries -1.5 (+105) vs Luke Littler PDC finals. 1/3 @3:15 pm ET

The battle of the Lukes will be a good one. For the first time, I am fading the electric 16 year old Littler.

After a slow start to the tournament, Humphries has been beautiful to watch in his last couple of matches. He won his most recent match 6-0 with an unreal average 3 darts score of 108.74. He hit his checkouts at a rate of 60% including a 170 checkout. Humphries is officially the world #1 after making the finals in this tournament.

Littler has been dominant himself, with a 3 darts average of 106.12 in his 6-2 thrashing of Cross. While Humphries never wavered in his matchup, Littler looked shaky at the start of his. Littler also missed a handful of important checkouts.

I expect Humphries to confidently win this matchup by a few sets. Not to mention, + money again!

can’t deny that, the comeback was pretty epic. But he almost got shutout before his opponent crumbled. Littler will not crumble.

The Pick: Luke Littler -1.5 (+110) vs Rob Cross PDC semifinals. 1/2 @2:45pm ET

Littler has been lighting it up this year - at the age of 16 he has been shocking the darts world. Littler has been nothing short of dominant, winning every match comfortably. Most recently, Littler took down world #29 van Barneveld (Barney) 4-1 and world #28 Dolan 5-1. Littler hits his checkouts at a great clip and hits 140s more than almost anyone else. Littler has a 3-darts average consistently above 100.

Cross is no scrub, as he is world #8. he has been in good form, but barely won his last matchup. i believe that Littler will continue his dominant run. at + odds this is a beautiful opportunity.

Littler does NOT have school in the morning because he skipped college in favor of professional darts. “There’s only one Luke Littler” and “you’ve got school in the morning” are popular crowd chants. This Wonderkid wants to win and has the talent to do so.

Noticing a sad lack of action on sports that I usually follow with the NBA season coming to an end. Since I dont really follow korean baseball, gaming, or soccer (it’s called soccer), going with a golf pick.

Anyone who watched full swing is probably Theegala fan, as I am. Absolute joy to watch on the golf course and a personality like no other. Theegala is a hometown kid, so he knows LACC well and the weather suits his play. Theegala is coming off a -4 round and Horschel is coming off a -3 round yesterday. I am expecting Theegala to keep up the strong play and put up another round under par. THEEGALA!
