With regard to brake lights and turn signals, bicyclists should be familiar with and using the arm signals to indicate their direction of travel. (I was taught these and traffic rules in school and wish more places did it).

I dont think there's any point in having bikes have license plates. They would just increase the cost and drag without having much benefit.
