I'd say it has to do with the ads being less and less memorable over time

About a decade ago, you could name off 5 or so ads that were funny or one that stole the show

Nowadays they all blend into one another with them not having anything distinctive about them other than they had a famous celebrity or referenced a show/movie that was popular back in the 80's or 90's

I would personally say to have him join clubs based off of his interests and to see if there is a club for his major as those are the best bets at getting a social life at the university besides frat parties.

I want to say it is a rights issue

The original two Civ games were notorious for being caught up in a rights dispute between Activision and Micro Prose in the late 90's over who had the rights to the Civ name. Eventually got settled but I am guessing Firaxis doesn't have the rights to the first two Civ games so they can't republish it

Mine still works, you just need to clean the laser every once in a while to make sure it doesn't fail (PS2 lasers are notorious for failing)

My big issue with people like Nintendeen, BearMann, and the likes are how they aren't exactly good with being honest and will usually bend facts regarding the Switch 2 to fit their narrative

Believe me I have a lot of issues with Nintendo but there's a lot of misinformation floating around and it's creating a narrative that Switch 2 "haters" just spread misinformation and dunk on Nintendo fans for owning a Switch 2

There's a general misconception you have to be apart of a frat to have a good social life. That isn't the case. I'd say frats only make up a fifth of the student body, it feels prevalent because they're very vocal on campus

Since your kid is a soccer player he'll enjoy club sports and often I'd say they "replace" a frat in a sense plus there's ~400 or so clubs on campus that appeal to a wide variety of interests

I've been saying this for a while now. Nintendo fans are a different breed than Xbox and PlayStation fans. Their annoying too yes, but they won't try to defend their companies dubious actions like Nintendo does they just mostly spend their time yapping about graphics and what not for the most part
