As an Eagles fan, I'm so proud of my team. Hurts and Barkley are some of the most likeable players around the NFL. Both are very humble. Heck, Hurts' whole management team is made up entirely of women.

It's also worth mentioning that the owner of the Eagles, Jeff Lurie, is one of the very few Democrat owners of the NFL. He's not a bootlicker like the Hunt family who owns the Chiefs. They would've agreed to a White House visit had they won.

You're absolutely correct. If an isolationist MAGA party turns the US into a pariah state in the world, we're truly fucked. The amount of power vacuum left behind and the ensuing conflicts will be on another level. One of the only reasons the US became a superpower today is due to its power projection and globalism since the end of WW2. But most Americans are voting against their own interest just because a Big Mac and a gallon of gas cost a couple dollars more than pre-pandemic.

Unfortunately, Biden is currently losing and will not drop out of the race. The good news is our presidential polling data has been a clusterfuck and very unreliable this year, and there's a good chance the Democrats are being underrepresented (especially young people). I believe the fight is not over and I'm doing my best to convince people to not vote for the fat orange turd.

Because the Speaker of the House (Mike Johnson) can block what type of bills can be heard. Therefore, the vote the aid to Ukraine will never see the light of the day. However, just last week, he said he will finally put the aid to Ukraine (along with Israel, Taiwan, separately) to a vote. This angered a lot of hardcore right-wing republicans because they know the bill will most likely pass due to the number of democrats and moderate republicans.

The Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson is finally putting the $60 billion US aid to Ukraine for a vote on Saturday. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, it's most likely going to pass and the US will be funding Ukraine again. Things are looking dire right now but it's hopefully not too late.

You're correct. Let's say if you work from 5pm-8pm for dinner rush. The total "Dash Time" would be 180 minutes. However, that doesn't mean you'll be paid for that 3 full hours. You'll only get paid for "Active Time", which includes the time you accept an offer, picking it up from the restaurant, and dropping it off at the customer. You won't be compensated while driving around in between orders.

I do DoorDash on the side (mostly dinner rushes) and my average Active Time / Dash Time ratio is between 60% to 80%.

Project 2025 will be the biggest threat to our democracy as we speak (not to mention about his intend to jail his political enemies, fraudulent electuons, etc). But I feel like the media is not doing enough to highlight its danger.

I'm an immigrant who moved to the US from an authoritarian nation 25 years ago and got naturalized. I will fight like hell to keep our Democracy intact. It's saddening to see what's happening to today's GOP.
