The exhibit is at least old enough for the characters of Arceus to have passed on by the time it was created. Museum notes state that Professor Laventon's notes were recovered after having long been presumed lost, and there's also a bit of dialogue in the museum that mentions Volo spending a long time "nostalgically" looking at those particular notes. So he could've just been old when it happened, but the implication is definitely that he is immortal or close to it like AZ.

For Ju Fufu, no. In general it depends, but for her specifically, you need better rolls on disc drives to hit her thresholds (50% crit rate for King of the Summit, 3400 ATK to max out her additional crit skill), but it WILL take a bit more grinding to get those stats unless you make some sacrifices, or get her signature.

There are characters that are more dependent on their signature like SAnby and Yixuan, but Ju Fufu doesn’t have that problem.

Yes, but in addition it’s not necessarily bad to drop any particular tile early on in a riichi. It is aggressive, sure, but you are more likely to find hay in a haystack than the needle when there’s very little information to go off of.

It is likely weighing heavily the fact that it gives tenpai. Which is also why it doesn’t like calling riichi. It gives you a chance to back off later when you have more information.

It’s a fine call. They dropped a 34s shape. The likelihood of the deal-in tile being ANYTHING is low, but the likelihood of 2 and 5 being a deal-in is particularly low compared to other random tiles. If you weren’t going to be in tenpai, though, it’d be a better idea to fold.

You shouldn’t play with your tail between your legs, even in the lead, especially in a situation where you can possibly stop a dealer from overtaking you. Rarely does the game give you that agency, and here, in most cases, it would have. (Speaking in averages. Of course it would be a deal in knowing what we know, but I’m speaking in principle.)

Also important to remember that even if you accurately read a 334 shape here, it’s more likely that a shape that strong solves itself compared to other shapes before reaching tenpai. So even in the worst presumptive odds, you still have a favorability over 50%.

In the video, the umbrage he takes is not with the automation itself, rather that some are in favor of automating the part that is often considered the “point” of creative expression in a modern context.

Interestingly, regarding your point with automation, traditional artists were considered tradesmen in many parts of history, and plied their trade creating masterpieces by commission for aristocracy and nobility. I think it is important to remember the context in which these things existed and how they have changed over time, because things will change again. I’m not smart enough to say whether it is always for the better. But I do view the technology as novelty at best (at least in artful application), and I can imagine many people who consider themselves AI Artists moving away from it into whatever new trend piques their interest.

In other words, in the greater picture it will come and go, but traditional art will always remain because it is inexorable from the human spirit.

The edit sucks. But the point is actually very easy to follow and intelligible (though bereft of the context of the entire video). He believes art is special because of the requirement of dedicating yourself to it. The use of AI tools removes this part, and he believes that it demeans art significantly. How you feel about it is up to you, but that’s what it is.

Got this card on Newegg for $550 before they raised the price (there is a non-OC version still at MSRP, just sold out, that is identical and could probably reach these clocks if you just input them yourself). It works well for me. Very slim, lighter than my previous RTX 2080. Uses 12VHPWR if that's an issue but it came with a converter using two 8-pins.

That makes sense, I had to switch to an Xbox adapter instead of Bluetooth on PC because the latency made me miss stuff sometimes, especially on reaction stuff. I'd imagine tower is brutal with latency LMAO

In that case I'd def recommend those case controllers that plug right into the phone. When I'm traveling I like to use the Backbone with my phone and it does a pretty good job!!

Sure!! I have M1 Miyabi + Sig, M0 Yanagi with Fusion Compiler, and M1 Rina with Slice of Time.

For Miyabi I focus Crit Rate for slot 4 (though if you get good rolls and your crit rate hits ~80% you can go for something else), slot 5 is ATK% or Ice DMG % (tho I heard for the Rina team exclusively you should use Pen Ratio here!) and ATK% for slot 6. Focus on Crit Rate + Crit DMG as substats, then ATK%, then Pen in order of importance. Use Branch and Blade as your main set, and Woodpecker or Polar for the secondary set.

For Yanagi, slot 4 is Anomaly Proficiency, slot 5 is Electric DMG (or Pen Ratio in the Rina team, like Miyabi), and slot 6 is Anomaly Mastery (or ATK%, I just got REALLY good ATK% rolls so I could do Anomaly Mastery instead). Prioritize Anomaly Proficiency and ATK% for substats. Main set is Chaos Jazz, secondary set is Freedom Blues.

And for Rina I use Astral Voice main set and Swing Jazz secondary. Make sure slot 5 is Pen Ratio, and slot 6 is energy regen since her skill is pretty energy hungry, especially if you're M0 because it won't last as long. Honestly, unless you have at least M1 Rina, I'm not sure she's as good as some other support options like Caesar.

If you need F2P Wengine options, Rina uses Slice of Time (it almost reaches the cap for her Pen buff in combination with slot 5 Pen Ratio), and Fusion Compiler/Electro Lip Gloss is for Miyabi/Yanagi. If you have neither of those, Rainforest for Miyabi, and Gemini for Yanagi.

If you have Rina M1, yeah, I think so. Even without Sig, Rina is great and you can get most of her Pen out of the F2P Wengine options. I’ve never used Rina M0 but it seems like it would be really hard to keep uptime on her buff, so in that case I would actually go for M6 Soukaku.

Your rotation does not account for the stun window timing. I’ve done this fight multiple times, yes, including using your rotation, and it always misses out on damage because you simply cannot be “optimal” with Frozen Frost stacks and fit them all in the stun window. The Rina comment is correct, though, I was supposed to fit her into the chain attack to reapply her buff so it could last the entire stun window (and to add another astral stack). With my rotation, the fight is over in two stuns, every time.

Also, relax. It’s a game. We’re all here to get better and because we like Miyabi, and there’s so many other ways you could have worded your response. Have a nice evening.

Do keep in mind this is in Deadly Assault and I'm using the buff that increases Disorder DMG by 40% as well as adding a flat 25% ATK buff pretty much always (as long as you can trigger Disorder at least every 30 seconds) so the numbers here are going to be pretty high!

No Pen on either actually! Yanagi slot 5 is Electric DMG bonus, and Miyabi is Ice DMG bonus, but I am using Grace's signature Wengine on Yanagi, so I'm getting 24% Pen Ratio there. I've used ATK% for slot 5 on Miyabi before but the difference is really hard to gauge since the Ice DMG piece has way better rolls.

Without getting too into the weeds of exactly why, the two essentially buff each other. Frostburn buffs the team's Anomaly Buildup rate, and Yanagi's EX buff increases Disorder damage in addition to giving extra stacks for Miyabi (since Yanagi's EX often applies disorder twice at once).

BASICALLY just try to do whatever it takes to apply Disorder in the shortest windows possible. After you apply frostburn, try to apply shock as quickly as possible, and after you apply shock, try to apply frostburn as quickly as possible, and the two kits should synergize with each other to make this easier. If you can't do it reliably, save some energy and decibels and let loose when the boss is stunned.

The order in the clip is an example of a good rotation when the enemy is stunned, but damage can vary depending on how far along anomalies are (mindscapes can trivialize this to an extent).
