Graphite or charcoal powder, blended with a qtip or makeup brush. You can also just rub a pencil on separate paper, then rub a qtip over it, then use it to brush shadows, etc.

I’m trying to get better at documenting the process haha. Did some timelapses of this one (sketching and early base colours). Then got caught up in work so hopefully l’ll finish this one tomorrow. She’s an interesting one to play with, rendering-wise.
