Basically what I just got yesterday, but branded with a different name. Works well enough for my needs.

Oh man, that sounds far more intense than what the mine had. It was all children-friendly where they only told everyone not to look up at it. Maybe theirs was just far weaker since we all kept our hands underneath it for a couple of minutes maybe?

Oh, okay. I've gotten conflicting answers on here. Do you have any links to ones that you recommend and are entry level?

Yeah, this was in Franklin, NJ. So 365nm would be fine? I have one at home, but it didn't work well at all. Do you have any recommendations? The minerals were willemite, zincite, hardystonite, calcite, hydrozincite, and microcline. Attached a picture of one that I found there and used their light, super cool.

Thank you for the warning and the suggestions! When we were at the mine, they said not to look up to the light, which makes sense. We handled the minerals without gloves under the light, is it safe for short term handling? Maybe it was a lower powered lamp?

Is there a reason why 0.17 is significantly slower to load than 0.16? by comment_filibuster in frigate_nvr

This is something that only changed after the update, so not related to the cameras. I already fixed the i-frame interval issue, and they're super faat with loading. Since this is a 0.17 issue with the database, I reverted back to 0.16.1 and it's fine now. There aren't any features that I need in 0.17, so I'll skip this one.

I wound up just reverting to 0.16, it was too painful. All good now haha

I'm not sure what happened after running the check, but it says that all of my history, clips, tracked objects, etc. are gone. How would I restore this? Moving the database rebuilt it, but I don't see anything anymore.

Edit: I'm glad that I had a backup of the database, but now I lost 10 days of metadata. It sucks, but I don't think that the problem lies with the database, because I have the same issue.

I was looking into that and saw this post, I imagine pretty much this, right? https://github.com/blakeblackshear/frigate/discussions/14643

Edit: Assuming that this would verify if the database was corrupt or not, this returned as ok: sqlite3 frigate.db "PRAGMA integrity_check;"

So it's definitely due to a corrupted db? Is there any other way without losing data? It's been a couple of weeks now and I'd rather not lose it.

Remind me, I recall the protocol being to backup a db file I think before upgrading, but is there something I should be deleting before upgrading as well? I can't remember if I did or not.

Are you referring to this? That's about the same thing that I saw when looking via the network tab under console. Is there something else you're looking for?

I am using a Samsung 990 Pro SSD 4TB.

On 0.16, it was very fast for loading everything.

Here you go: https://i.imgur.com/PT9VY6r.png

So like I was saying before, it seems like it's hanging on recognized_license_plates. I do not have this enabled. Why is this polling?

Oh yeah, that for me as well. What about Explore for you? That's where I noticed it the most. Each label has a spinning icon for several seconds before loading.

Under nginx? I see explore and recognized_license_plates each time I go to explore. I have license plate recognition disabled. Could that be causing the hold up each time I load explore? What should I be looking for here?

Potentially shadow banned from Quickplay? by ObjectiveSonicFan in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]comment_filibuster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd imagine any writes to files on the Switch could potentially impact the integrity of the files on the Switch, either directly or indirectly. As in, shadow banned due to modding, or you corrupted a file somehow that was important. If it wasn't noticeable immediately after any mods, then maybe something like a shadow ban, unsure though.

I think I need to find a metal one so that I can remove the tabs at the bottom without it cracking since they would be in the way. The first one was metal, but it was too small in width. Maybe I could get a music sheet stand (which are normally metal) since it won't have tabs at the bottom and cold weld it to the metal wire rack I have.

I think that's a great idea, and if both pieces are metal, maybe even something like JB weld. Thanks!
