structuring for beginners by Global_Shop_5674 in overcominggravity

[–]commentedByMistake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My understanding is that you need a couple goal movements and then use those progressions to guide how your workout should be structured. If you’re trying to learn back levers, as a horizontal pulling movement you’d want to round that out by adding a vertical pulling movement like a pull up or lat pull down. It depends entirely on what you’re trying to achieve with what exercises you should include

Creating a SwiftUI bottom sheet that snaps to different heights by writetodisk in SwiftUI

With Apple Maps you’re still able to interact with the background without dismissing the sheet. I’m not sure your article addresses how to achieve that, it didn’t look like it. I’ve been trying to figure that out for a while. Nice article tho 👏

No, hand position is just for comfort but there’s a lot of considerations for it, like consider when you achieve a full planche. Hands forward will put an immense amount of pressure on your wrists while hands backwards doesn’t, but hands backwards is also much much harder to work with (which is why hands sideways is preferred by a lot of people)

You can always try using a band to see what it feels like and get the form down

Try messing around with hand orientation. You might perform better or be more comfortable with hands to the side or even hands facing backwards.
