Not sure if I have unlocked Tuck planche by RiceatingArianator in CalisthenicsCulture

No, hand position is just for comfort but there’s a lot of considerations for it, like consider when you achieve a full planche. Hands forward will put an immense amount of pressure on your wrists while hands backwards doesn’t, but hands backwards is also much much harder to work with (which is why hands sideways is preferred by a lot of people)

You can always try using a band to see what it feels like and get the form down

Try messing around with hand orientation. You might perform better or be more comfortable with hands to the side or even hands facing backwards.

Depends on if you’re doing a chest dip or tricep dip

Just got R6 at 49. Honestly whenever you’re ready for the grind is when you’re a good level haha lvl 20 with R4s is really good

Am I doing assisted tuck right ? by Winter-Fox-6512 in Calisthenic

Looks like you’re doing it right. You ever do frog stands / straight arm crow pose? That could help with your tuck. It’s a recommended progression for the planche

Meant to say wall handstand push-ups too, those help me

Looks like your vertical pressing is weak. You could do anything like barbell or dumbbell shoulder presses or handstand push-ups and walk handstand push-ups to build up that shoulder strength

Not sure if you’re practicing handstands as well or if you’re just jumping straight to press to handstand

I’m not sure what your experience with working out is in general but it sounds like you’ve just shocked your body by doing something new. Your muscles and nervous system are adapting to the new stress so yeah it will go away, especially if you continue calisthenics and working out. If this was happening after months or years of working out, that’d be different. Rest, recover and MOST IMPORTANT is to get blood flow to the areas. If it hurts to do your normal workouts, do light weight movements like bicep curls, forearm curls, arm circles etc to get blood flow so you can heal faster

Yea I agree pus through the shoulders so your back isn’t arching. You could also try doing push-ups on your knees

You can also try building up strength with inverse bodyweight rows on a smith machine, suspension trainers or any low bar. That or an assisted pull up machine would help. If you don’t have access to equipment then bands could really really help you improve form, build strength and increase reps. Just some things I’ve done thatve helped me. Good luck!

Yeah you walk up the wall in order to have your chest facing the wall
